Hi, everyone! Many thanks for the warm welcome.

I'm sorry that this is getting thrown up at the tail end of the day... my acceptance came as something of a total surprise and I'm somewhat chagrined to admit that I really didn't have any sort of a snazzy introduction rolling around in my head.

I promise you guys that I'll have a much more acceptable introduction and short bio up as soon as I can wring one from my tortured mind.

_Smoke_will be our new correspondent helping us work through issues with the Pilot Profession. He'll be representing your issues to myself, Tiggs and the developers.

The blue-name torch will be passed on to him some time today and he’ll be making an introduction postas soon as possible.

I also want to thank everyone who submitted candidate letters. There were many excellent candidates it is always a tough choice.
