lol Awing sports car....so thats why there are so many Awing pilots...they are compensating for somthing else....!!

The firespray is compensating for something else (6 mil for a police vehicle?!)

Now the Firespray is a vehicle to overcompensate with. It's the epitomy of overcompensation.

The Y-Wing has been my favorite ship since I saw Star Wars in 1977. I have had my disappointments with it in Galaxies, but I still really love the design.
I use it as a bomber in support of friends missions, loaded for bear (I have the mass maxxed out), armored like a tank and shielded like the Deathstar. But it's not about the most tweaked thing I can get my hands on, it's about loving the quirks of the ship. *shrug*
As a RL pilot, that's something that comes through into the game. Loving the faults as well as the benefits of a craft.
I think the Nova for Rebels just looks dumb (no offense, just my opinion) and I am interested in a different ship that can carry multiple people. The YT is not available to Rebels which only leaves the Nova (I don't know what the Firespray crew requirement is). The multiple passenger capability is a plus for me.
And hell, the bottom line is that it just looks cool. =)
Just for the record, I presently fly an X-Wing for most missions, except heavy bomber missions and am looking forward to flying the A-Wing sportscar.

i think that the arc-170 should be a privateer only ship. i mean duh, post ANH the rebels all have y, x, a, or b wings. if any faction should have access it would be imperial since the republic became the empire. although that wouldn't make sense wither since they all have TIEs now. there are a ton of ships they could have introduced from EU besides these dumb ships from freakin ep 3. but i will jump on the arc-170 is a really cool looking ship bandwagon. why doesn't the naboo security force get naboo starfighters? same reason most of us do not drive 50 year old cars. notice i said most.
