Gonna be upset if I have to buy a different joystick.

I have the logitech 3d pro and I love it.

My Logitech extreme 3d wingman didnt work at first. But after logging off and reloading it magically started working.

I'm using a MS-Sidewinder Precision Pro 2 and it works great. I keep it plugged in 24/7, however. Always plug in before you start SWG.

If you guys are used to the PS2 control pad, get the trio-linker from Lik-Sang.com. Works great.

me too. still getting used to it (more maneuverable than kb/mouse but harder to be steady)
zero problems, zero special config required (WinXP box, installed cd, plugged stick in, started starwars, and it worked. then i configured some buttons for targeting because the default loadout wasnt for me)

My Saitek "Cyborg Evo Force" works beautifully. If you've got 70 bones to drop on it, I suggest it highly.

If you go into the game options from teh launchpad there is a joystick tab in there, you can specify the joystick you want to use as well as turn off forcefeeback if you wanted

I use the Saitek X45 joy stick and throttle combo. And it works great..
But if you ask me and most Long time flight simers out there ..they'll tell you (well most of them...not all) CH products are prob the best (but a little expensive).(Well execpt for somthing like a Couger..but there god awful expensive...)
I plan on getting a CH joystick and throttle in the near future...not that i dont like my saitek...But Ive used the CH's before and they are VERY good. However the Saitek is more affordable and still a descent Stick.

YES! My Logitec 3D Pro works very well. My problem was, indeed, that I had connected the joystick AFTER I had logged into JTL. The next time I played, the joystick was already plugged up and it worked great.
In fact, I believe I'd find it extremely difficult to play JTL without a joystick. And they're so CHEAP. I would recommend getting any of the joysticks that other players have had good luck with.
