Treena_Daal it's people like you why I hardly ever post ANYTHING on the forums. Maybe I should have went into more detail for you.

My example part was a level 10 driod interface. The speed on that interface was 9. but the mass was somthing like 30k.

Since the RE level of the part was LOWER (NOT 10) it was 5 you could RE that part as if it was a level 5 part.

So you got the mass of the level 5 parts but the speed of the level 10 part which was 9.

I have seen weapons, shields, and engines ect... all with odd RE levels that don't match the part level. Again all I am trying to say is watch the parts you loot b4 you sell them off.

Yes and Treena was saying that usually (atleast from what Ive seen) the stats match the RE level not the Cert level. For example I had 2 Cert 10 RE 5 capaciters (not difinitive proof in anyway I admit) both were around the stats for a looted level 5 capaciter (500ish energy, 20-30ish recharge, think around 5k mass) not a level 10 (1000+ energy 40+ recharge, 50k+ mass) So you could RE them with level 5s and essentially a level 5 cap, in other words rubbish. Again I havn't seen everything but, I have never seen a part with stats over it RE level. So in your example you would have basically a level 5 DI not a level 10 with level 5 mass. If someone has a screen shot that says otherwise I will of course retract my argument.
