Thread: The dreaded M word for space.

While i'm not for fighting or mining macros, what are others thoughts on more tedious things like "get me to space station and land" macro? One of these would be helpfull for after getting a full cargo hold and needing to get up ang do use the restroom or make a sandwhich or something.
I have about 30 macros/alias for space! Macro that allow me to instantly (with out touching the keyboard), go to Deep Space to repair. Targeting all the asteroids, merceneries, Space stations. And my favorite is
Cap Shunt to Shield marco!!! <--- make the macro and put the pause .1 or .2 seconds slower then the DI speed.
Their may not be a need. But I see needs everywhere for macros (plus I like to perfect them, and have spent sometimes more time in the game perfecting a macro then playing the game) .
Thats life I guess!

That's the default keybind for that anyway.

No, I think it's just to target, not to target and talk to the station. I rebound it so that you do both in 1 hit, rather then C to target and then /comm to talk.

SHIFT+C is the default bind for target nearest station and start conversation

I find my short burn booster macro helps a lot during pvp. I even managed to score one of my kills last night whilst flipping my ship whilst using it.
Ok, I'm curious, what is this macro?
A secret. Thats what it is
.
Naw, Jokin'.
Ok basically, what I have is this macro:
/boosteron;
/pause 0.5;
/boosteroff
I have it assigned to the ins key on my keyboard and basically in a turn fight, if I turn correctly, it'll push my A-wing right over its axis performing an almost effortless 'loop on the spot'. Additionally, this is a good tactic for in a tight turn when you're trying to wrestle into position with another pilot, activating it can sometimes give you that slight boost so you can take the shot, but when it deactivates it'll automatically slow you down so that you're not in harms way for too long.
In a turning fight, I've found that if you can aim at your opponent, they're able to aim at you too due to the inertia of this game so you need to be aiming to not be in that position as much as possible.
