oh, I've solo'd Rebel (started on Tat) up to 4-4-4-4, and Neut (started on Mos Eisley) up to 4-4-4-4, as well. Neither Ace mission yet. The overall number of Mobs (errr, only up to about 12 so far) seems irrelevant, in other than how long it takes me, but, I'm still working on Aggressor and GB tactics.

That's nice, except it is impossible. You wouldn't have been able to move on to tier 3, until you had all the tier 2 boxes. Perhaps you should re-evaluate and edit your story.
