If I read what components the most of ya have in the Bwing, I dont wonder why you discuss the worth of this wonderful ship.
Put a speed 95 (rest over 80) engine in it, plus a 2500er shield and a good capacitor. Then use lvl four programs instead of three (Of course weaponovercharge three) and you will see that even dogfights is pure fun and only another Playerbomber can blow it with two shots.
It take some time to get good components, but its worth to grind for it or buy.

Solo'd the SD in my Bwing today, love her more every day. (note: I've done it in an Xwing too, but each pass is so much easier in the Bwing. The components almost blow up before I know it, and getting away clean and unharmed is no more difficult than the X)

The Bwing is a ship of awesome firepower, however, if I remove just 1 gun from it I can fit allthe components into a Krayt and have the benefit of the speed and manouverability. The main parts I use are pretty heavy - level 10, 9 and 8 guns, level 8 shield, level 10 engine, level 8 cap. The only lightweight parts I use are the Reactor, which pushes out 14.5K or so power (my RE'd parts use very little power), the boosters (don't need much - with EO3 I hit 1205 max without them) and the DI (pre-nerf). For some reason one of my guns is bugged and won't show on my wings but they fire instead through both the upper and lower cockpit guns, effectively giving me all the firepower of 3 very big guns through a target area around the size of a TIE.
The Bwing is truely a Master level ship - as has been mentioned it was built for a very specific role, the taking down of capital ships. Unfortunately the only Cap ship content is the Corvette or the ISD, both of which can be solo'd in an Awing. If you try to fight TIE's in it you tend to go back toye olde days of jousting.
So, for day to day content I'll fly my Alt in a Krayt but for DS fun and profit I'll take a Bwing with the Overload 4's (except WO3 of course).
