Where does this start again, I went to the rebel station in Kashyyyk space and I just got the option to go Overt. I hope to run this later tonight, could some one give me a clue of what to do???

Watched the girlfriend solo this twice last night, once for the Vaksai and once for the heavy X-Wing. The key to making it a lot easier is to take out gun 5 and ride right behind that gun position 'til you get to within 4k of the jump off point, then drop the shields and engine. Let the crew retake it and then let it make the rest of the 4k run. The enemy fighters and gunships come in waves and by the first gunship wave, the vette's just about ready to jump. By the time you've cleaned up the fighters in the gunship wave, you're ath the station and it's mission completed, collect your deed.

So how long, in minutes, do we wait from contact to take out the engines?

I did this mission with both my rebel and imp toon, now your gonna get mad, the imp way was a whole lot easier, on the imp vette mission, you get attacked by rebel ships, and the gunboat that shows up are tier 3, stationary. yes, only one gunboat.

compared to the 3 tier 5 agro gunboats that show up for the rebels, one after the other.

see, made all the rebels mad, lol

Play or quit..... there is no whine.

I found a decent strategy for it. I ran the mission three times. First time, I had no idea what to expect, and disabled the Corvette as soon as I cleared the fighter escort. The problem in doing this is that if the gunboats have this much time to attack the Corvette, they actually can destroy it.

I ran the mission once to see where its regular jumpout point is, once I found that, I ran it again to actually get it. Once it got 3000 meters from its jumpout point, I got right behind it, and used five mark 3 Torpedos on its sheild generators, and dropped its engines with my cannons(Note: The Corvette will make at least two turns when it reaches roughly the 4000 meter mark, then it travels in a straight line. Depending on your armament, you can wait as long as you want, if you make certain to give yourself enough time to disable the ship).

From this point, its close enough to the station that when the gunboats spawn, they'll have a much shorter time to attack the Corvette, and the Tier 4 Rebels that are regularly flying patrols will potentially be close enough to agro the gunboats for you(It depends where they are in thier patrol path, however, you could get an Imperial friend to aggro them and drag them out to you. ). Just keep in mind, that once the ship is taken over, it no longer heads toward its original jumpout point, but the station.

Once the mission is over, any ships that were attacking it will remain, but if they're not aggro'd on you, they'll just park themselves somewhere, this includes the gunboats. To claim your reward, speak once more to the Rebel Outpost, where you'll recieve the Advanced X-Wing and fifteen grand.

This is a great strategy.

When I did this mission (rebel ace pilot) only 6 fighters attacked the thing. It was about 3k - 4k away from the rebel station when I finally disabled it. After that I didn't have to fire a shot. Granted, the bumblebee effect was so bad that I never would have landed a shot more than once a minute but it still worked rather well.

actualy dude for this mission its best not to knock out any guns.

equip a high level torpedo launcher

take out the fighters

sneak up directly behind the vetts engins, stay at least1k out when lineing up otherwise youll get shot, from here even without knocking out gun 5 you can disable the vett with torps without takeing fire

take out sheild 1 and 2 with torps

use guns on the engins

wait for capture

its best to leave the guns intact, they do help with the waves of fighers later

Followed these instructions. worked like a champ. Seconds after the corvette left space all three gunships turned on me and wiped me out. But it was after I won the mission so WOOT.

Where does it begin? I started Eyma's thing then went to the rebel outpost after they told me the rebels at the station wanted me. I did a mission for them, after a couple I got a rebel symbol hologram. Whats going on? Should I ask for some missions or something?

"I want a challenge."

Select that option. It gives you the vette mission.
