Rebel Tier 3 Mission 2 on the Storm Squadron track is either bugged or incredibly hard, even for a group. It's impossible to complete it.

I've lost my cockpit views and now I have an a-wing that looks like a micro machine when zoomed a little back.

Mission 2 is actually easier than missions 1 or 3 IMO. I've done it solo, many people have done it grouped.
Definitely not bugged, though rude to say the least.
Edit: Storm Squadron is imperial, btw. I don't think there's a rebel squadron with the same name.

I have a BUG i found.

You eject from your ship get put back at the Satellite and they cominicate giving you an option of repair, goto the planet or cancel.

Do not cancel and dont press escape.....

Doing so means you will be stuck....yeah you will be on your ship which wont move, and you wont be able to do anything as the game for some reason wont let you communicate with the satellite unless you move out to a certain range.

Also another thing.....the request docking action does not work...at least i have never seen it do anything but give the responce that yur target denies you the request......perhaps a request comminication action might be useful for the satelites and things......

I mean you might end up being like me and pressing cancel or canceling by accident from so dialogue in the game and then be unable to go back and do something.

Oh and another bug, you have to be almost on top of the way point to speak to the docking satellites...dont know about anyone else.....

but thats plain annoying...you are right in the middle of them...and they wont talkto you??? Untill you are closer????

I think tts something else hat should be fixed...maybe with like i said a request communication command.

Well, I don't know how to call it then. Maybe it's called Vortex, I dunno. It sends you to Dant.

Groups:

Just like in ground groups, if your in the same sector, give arrows and distance to groupies in the group list. Nothing is worse then having to try to find your squad leader in a fire fight. (hitting "next target" to target your squad leader, then to locate him on your radar then to fly to him, then to target your enemy ship again is not a pleasing option)

GUI:

For the life of me I can't seem to resize over half the onscreen windows. Such as the group window, um....lol yeah, thats the only one I can think of right now lol. At least for that window I can move it, but not resize it.

Tail Gunner:

The blue lead-targeting box thatappears when you fly solo, is missing when I was tail-gunning for someone. No matter what I did, options or not, it did not work. As soon as we landed and I went up solo, the blue lead box was back. This made it very annoying and very difficult to help the pilot. He had the blue lead box, where I did not. (was in YWing)

For the groups, it looks like they added in arrows to see where your group members are. Yesterday we had a group going and it was really easy to tell where the group members were. Bravo! Only thing left to see if they can do it is to add distance to the group member just like on ground groups. These numbers may be there, but because the inability to resize the group bar, can't tell if they are there or not.

GUI I still did not check to see what else was not resizeable/bugged. Will make a list later.

Tail Gunner still does NOT have the blue lead target box in the reticle. This has been verified by me again yesterday, and by 2 other people in my group. (tail gunner in YWing in case this is not a problem with other 2 seater ships)

PIlot Category: Freelance

Pilot Affiliation, Neutral, Imperial Covert

Pilot Experience: 2/2/2/2 with 200K Banked experience

Pilot Requirements: To achieve Level 3/3/3/3, complete first mission offered by Jabba's Privateer Trainer

Situation: After dialogue, mission granted, pilot arrives at system, unable to engage mission elements

Result: Mission Failure, not able to advance beyond 2/2/2/2 Freelance with 200K banked xp

Details: Upon arrival into the Yavin System, mission elements consisting of 1 Freighter and 3 escorts enter the sector and a waypoint is given to the target; the freighter that is to be disabled by targeting the engines and reactor.

The escorts all con white to the player with an orange target box around the freighter. Upon attacking the freighter, the escorts, Kimogila Tier 3, con red but can not be damaged by the player or the player take damage from the escorts. The Freighter can be disabled successfully and the mission proceed as normal with Jabba personnel capturing the freighter and then positioning it to the hyperspace jump point.

Approximately 3 additional intercepts are to arrive and take back the freighter. They all con white with a total of 6 enemy aircraft conning red and white but unattackable. To complete the mission, the intercepts are to be destroyed but, since they con white and are unattackable, they hyperspace out and the mission fails.

Very interesting mission with much depth, I attribute that quality to the mission designers, very nice and causes me to desire more and proceed beyond 2/2/2/2 Freelance.

Results: Mission will fail every time. I have verified my character is not the cause, has free space for waypoints, is not aligned factionally in a manner that hinders the mission, has enough negative Valarian faction (-5000 in fact), has hyperspaced to all three sectors of yavin to make sure the mission is truly not doable, etc.

Solution: The mission appears to spawn for the player as a failed mission another pilot could not complete. This is a higly likely explanation since red conning fighters can not be damaged and that is experienced when a player spawns a mission only for the one taking it.

Tie Aggressor:

Cannot load both weapons and have the front fire, when I have both loaded only the rear turret fires. Then if I have the second removed it only fires a single shot forward from the cockpit window. I tried weapon assigning, redeeding, different weapon, buying second aggressor chassis. Unable to open a ticket though either, seems that is also bugged...

Possible bug: managed to strip down and re-deed my Z-95, hate my Y-wing so i re-deeded that, now I can't re-create either ship and the chassis dealer doesn't give the option to re-purchase the chassis even. Even went so far as to destroy my SoroSuub out of my datapad and retried-didn't work on my player-made ships, but i was able to successfully re-create my Suub, what gives?

Not a bug, but awfully annoying: (posted earlier)- getting mobbed by ships 2-3 tiers above yours while doing missions, added to that, these MOBs even target and destroy ships that I have dis-abled= XP but no chance for loot

Any help would be appreciated, thx

Everyone has to complete the faction Theme Park for their Tier 3 trainer. Rebels have to do it, Imps have to do it, Privateers have to do it. Which is why I burned a few hours over the weekend finishing up Jabba's theme palace. (And, of course, adding more screenshots of "Ler doing the BMOC to famous characters" to my collection....)

Not true. Only certain squadrons in each have to do their theme park. For example (from memory) Imp Inquisition has to do the emperor's retreat. Storm squadron Definitely doesn't.

Agressor is a two seater (like the Y-wing). One weapon group (and one weapon hardpoint) is the turret, the other group+hardpoint is the front firing weapon. if you're alone, you'll never get them both to fire.
Just like a Y, the 'fires forward' hardpoint will be forever alone.

If you're having an issue where you you have both hardpoints equipped, and can't get forward-facing weapons to fire at all, check keymaps, but definitely bug it.
