Can someone please post a picture? Thanks.

Never mind. I found a picture on the web, but I have a couple questions.

1) I am a 2/2/2/2 rebel pilot. I want to become rebel ace, but I really like the Imperial ace jacket. Would someone be able to sell an Imp jacket to me?

2) Could I buy the Jacket and wear it as a Reb pilot or Reb Ace?

3) If I have to go Reb -Imp Ace- Reb, would I be able to wear the Imp jacket I got as a Reb pilot?

Thanks again.

You can only wear an ace jacket when your an ace ofa pilotprofession. So to wear the Imp Ace jacket you need to go be an ace in an Imperial squad. You can get ace, put on the jacket and drop the Imperial pilot, but if you ever take off the jacket while your not an Imperial ace you'll be out of luck.

You also can't trade Ace jackets or helmets.

Could you not drop em in a house then someone else picks them up?

Good question, I dunno. I know you can drop them because I have all three factions displayed on my Decimator (Waaay over ina corner where visiting officers won't see that rebel jacket). Dunno if someone else could pick them up. But unless they were an Ace in that faction, they couldn't wear it anyhow.

They can't pick em up, you can't even transfer the house unless you remove all the Ace rewards before.

You only need administrator rights to move stuff around in a house.

Imo they should change this - you've done the profession; gotten the reward... so you drop it and go for another one but can't wear your reward! Silly.

The items could at least have message/cerificate notice on them when you examine.

There is a few items that can only be dropped in a structure you own and can only be picked by the owner of the structure they are in.

Structures with these items cannot be transfered.

Ace jacket and helmet are some of these items, as are the Mark of the Hero rewards.

So, as far as I know, there's no way to give your jacket/helmet to another char.

Actually, once you gain a mastery, drop it, and pick up a squadron in the same faction, you can wear the ace gear as a novice pilot.I dropped RSF for SA after mastery and wore my jacket and helmet at novice. However, on my character with one mastery in each faction, I can only wear the ace gear in the faction I'm currently with (Imperial and cannot wear Rebel or Freelance ace gear). If you drop your faction (Rebel for Imperial) to go for another mastery in a different faction, you lose the ability to wear your previous factional ace gear.

Exactly.

And I'm 100% sure it is still like that: a friend of mine quit and sold his very nice house for 80M.. he tried to transfer it to the auction winner but he couldn't until he removed all the pilot rewards and the mark of hero.

Correct on not trading. You can't drop the helmet/jacket in a house you don't own (not just administrator, have to own it), and you cannot pickup helmet/jackets in a house you do not own. Plus, you can't transfer a house that has them in it. So, in short, there is no way to transfer the items.
