i just looted the black sun helmet!!! lol sorry but im just so happy!!! i heard tales of people spending hours on end trying to get one and i had nothing better to so i decided to try and kill a few after like my hundredth one i looked in my inventry at the wep i had jus looted and realised the helmet was there lol .

On a diffrent note anyone think we need a Black Sun Ace Helmet sticky? there seem to be 3-4 threads a week regarding it.

congrats, you must be feeling like me when i finaly looted some GDK scales (before they made the static spawn drop them) best feeling in the world

Heh, I just got one too. Both of my characters use modded headgear, so I sold it.
Now, if I could just snag some good level 8 engines...

The odds aren't that bad... assuming you aren't horrendously unlucky. I've looted two of them -- one on each character. Took me approximately 12 million prestige each time.

Yeah, I completed Smuggler's Alliance, switched to Arkon's Havok and approximately 8.5 million prestige later had the helmet. It was nice to see You have looted a Black Sun Ace Helmet pop up. I kept it for a while and sold it for 20 million last night

grats to OP on the helmet. I've been running T4 BS missions out of Theed or about 39 years and still no helmet. Maybe I don't get it because I want it for all the wrong reasons. I'm just going to sell it so I can buy more engines.
