40K mass and better YPR accleration rates than a T/I or a T/A, is all i keep looking at.

I keep thinking about it, but havent tried it yet. Has anyone else given this ship a whirl in PvP?

Im thinking i might just totally toss out the shield, go armor only, and name it "suicidal maniac"

I tried it, but never found anyone to play with while I had it running. I didn't like the slower speed, butthe turn on a dime was awesome. If you use it, find a quiet place to stay away from PvE in deep space, its just not effective against tier 5 NPCs.

Well ive been toyed with it several times.

As so far i can get just about everything in it including MKIII shield, L7 cannon, and L6 engine. I think the only thing i didnt quite squeeze in was a booster.

Maybe ill try it out this weekened

Well i went up against 2 oppressors whilst in my A-wing the other day and i put them down ok.

They come back in an oppressor and a TIE.

I laughed at it - never again.

I manouvered the 2 so that when i turned i would always have one to shoot at and i took down the opp pretty quick.

The TIE took forever it was so nippy i couldnt hit it. If only my headhunter had more mass!!

Cant remember what tie it was but it was probably the 20k or 40k one.

Recently I went and outfitted a Kihraxz with the best stuff from my Duneliz that would fit, with some slight modifications. I've been rather successful with it - something along the lines of 6 kills/1 death, while I went 1 and 1 against a very skilled pilot in a very, very nicely equipped X-Wing. Hmmm, I might be forgeting some kills when I said 6... hard to remember.

Well, given its YPR accleration rates, 40K mass is alot. I just spent all morning refitting my interceptor, so the linefighter is next

I wonder what ppl are goign to think when they see me with it. I dont think anyones used one in PvP yet on bria, at least, not that ive heard.

I remember you using that one one of our Kessel runs. I think next time we battle CFA you and I should go up in them at least once or twice and give them a go. Sound fun?

I might give my TIE/ln another spin, still in my datapad, but haven't used it since I got my squint.

I put the same engine into my squint and TIE/ln... no difference in listed PYR.

Of course not, its the top 3 YPR values (accelleration) that are different in the T/ln. These values are static and are dependant on the chassis as far as i know. the T/ln is faster in this regard then the T/I or T/A. I do beleive however its spdx modifer is slightly slower then said ships.

Sure thing, Razz. Be a hard little bird to hit - the night of the big battle against CFA, I started in my Intercepter for a couple rounds before switching to my Firespray. First skirmish it took 3 hits to kill me, and I got 2 shunts off, one between each hit. 3 hits to kill an Intercepter, that's just wrong or I'm a lucky fool up there some days. I'm really starting to drool over the Heavy TIE if it has the manuver of the normal ones.

I was just discussing that exact thing with someone. I can't wait. And at any rate, the Guardsman Interceptor should be sweet. I'd love to see our group in those.
