I just completed my 4,3,3,3 Freelance skill box. The Exotic Vessels skill box (level 4) is colored yellow (so I know it's completed). I successfully finished the mission that follows. I purchased a Belbullab-22 and everytime I try to generate the ship it says, "you do not have the badge needed to fly that ship", or some junk like that. Is there a special mission I need to do? All the vendors that hang around the starports always yell, "Grievous ships for sale! Anyone with Exotic vessels can fly one!" Well that's BS. Any help please?

You need 5 badges of any kind to fly the Bell-22. POI badges will do but you must have 5 total to fly it.

Yep, that's it. I gotan alt flying imperial and got one of these for him.
Had to run shuttle around Naboo for a bit but now he can fly it.

Ok so when you say badges (without trying to sound like a total noob), what might those be? Are there some easy ones to acquire that I can knock out? Mind you, I'm not much on the planet side of things....pretty much just a fly-boy.Ok so when you say badges (without trying to sound like a total noob), what might those be? Any badges. POI badges are probably easiest. Take a shuttle tour and hike around for

20-30 minutes and you have at least 5. Check ctrl+c the middle tab and see which ones you don't have

(probably most of them) for ones in the area where you are. Easy planets are Naboo, Tatooine and Corellia.

Open your Datapad and click the 3rd tab, "POI", preferably while on Naboo, Tatooine, or Corellia. The just click all the waypoints you find. Chances are about two thirds of them will give a badge just for visiting. Sometimes you need to move around the area to get thebadge though... it's not always right AT the waypoint indicator.

I think you already took care of soundign like a noob. If you're not very combat oriented, just try riding out to POIs and collecting badges that way.

for the record... any 5 doesn't count...

they don't, for instance, count master badges.

because i still can't use my bleedin' bel-22. *sigh*

That sure worked. Thanks everyone. I went to 4 POI places on Tatooine and then just landed on Kyshyyk (I can't spell the name of that planet to save my life) to get my 5th badge. And now I can fly the Sports Car (er, Belbullab-22). FYI- if anyone chooses to visit the Sarlac pit on Tat for their badge, don't get too close or you'll get diseased!
