Yupppers, today pigs were seen flying in low orbit over tatooine.
We had a developer post in the JTL/pilot forums a total of THREE times today.

Wonder if this means they didnt forget about us?

Last time a dev posted was like.. the joystick thread in the JTL forum the other week. Before that... i cant remember ever seeing a dev in our neck of the woods..

So again, its offical, pigs can now fly.

Now if we start seeing monkies from odd places, there is most definatly a great disturbance in the force.

"When pigs fly" should probably have "...under their own power" added on, or people might get a bit creative...

I'm going to guess in the Longprobe range.

Nah. Greased pigs YPR at Longprobe rates. Normal pigs are more like TIE Bombers.

Try the "Tomo is sexiest sexist" thread.

In fairness, the devs have been more willing to come out and play lately. I just hope they keep it up, because it's a really positive move.

To be perfectly honest, I almost wish they didn't do that so much today. The GCW board has gone bonkers because of a few dev posts. Spam central over there, and it wouldn't surprise me if we lost another GCW Corr over it in a few days. Not to mention that GarVa is likely to ban Aura again. That seems to be the thing to do anytime a discussion about Jedi breaks out over there...

The drama on the GCW forums is second only to Brias. (or is that the other way around?)

A lot of the turmoil is just because the more open communication is still kind of new and so drags out a lot of pent-up energy, to put it diplomatically. But I think BMF's got the right kind of personality to weather that particular storm, and that things will settle down to a more productive level if we're still seeing a lot of dev posts a few weeks from now as well.

I don't know. I avoid the Bria forums. I learned way, way back in the first couple of years of EQ1 to avoid my server's forums. Server forums are almost always populated by the worst of the worst of your server's population.
