Thread: Jabba's Pilot Trainer?!?!?!

Ok I just got enough experiance for tier 3 piloting, but when I got back to the Valerian lady in the Lucky Despot, she told me to talk to he guy in the cantina, I do so and he says to see so and so at Jabba's Palace....problem is I ride out to the palace and the person I am supposed to talk to isn't there and I can't enter the palace.
I heard you were supposed to fly there, but I can't pilot my ship there either.
And while I am at it, is it possible to switch from say Smuggler's alliance to say Corsec wing or another group?

I just said forget it and switched to the rebels. Always wanted an X-wing anyways. Thanks for the offers and the help though folks.

Yet another person bit in the arse by this bug.
/bug it, report it in live issues, file a ticket. if they hear more and more about people who get trapped by this the more likely they are to change it.
The Rebel TP landing mission (Dantooine) can be gotten at any point
The Imperial TP landing mission can be gotten at any point (by Inquisition and RSF)
The Jabba's TP landing mission is offered before you know you'd need it, and in such a way that most people miss it, and by the time they are told they need it, they are blocked from getting it. It's stupid beyond belief.

Nevermind I found another thread about it.
Still would like to know about changing factions though.

You'd have to drop all the pilot skills you have so far to change to corsec or RSF.

That sucks and it turns out now the space station guy won't give me the mission anymore to get into jabba's palace. Someone just shoot me now.

Try sending in a ticket, might be your lucky day. If you're on eclipse I have a spare set of forged access documents, not sure if they'll work for you though.

Nevermind. I went through quite a lot of pages before I found a thread that talked about the mission.

You won't be soprry with the X-Wing, but Smuggler's Alliance is fun too. It's the only faction that lets you kill both NPC Rebels and Imperials. Let the good times roll...

I do miss my dunelizard though. Right now I am on my Y Wing and it's alright...for some reason though it won't let me fire both weapons at once like my dune lizard did.
Definatly harder so far. I seem to run into more tier 2 and 3s as a rebel than I did as a freelance.
