hey, how the heck did u ever grind tier 4? is there any quicker way than just killing tier 4 and 5 fighters until u grind out 1 mil xp per box? any help would be appreciated thanx!!

not sure how they done it but im either doing 1 of 2 things

A: kessel and reb gnnboats and there support

B: watch the boards and offer my services at kashykk is a lot of people runnin the chiss backpack missions and other tier4+ space missions that im happy to help out on it isnt borin and knowin youve helped someone out, yeah takes longer but its not as if the games going anywhere soon

One word: Kessel.

Also, I believe RSF's get a Blacksun duty, so I'd take that. Also, there's apparently (haven't seen this myself) a spawn of transports on the Kashyyyk system that give alot of XP.

OK, here's a couple other spawns:

Endor system, tier 4 Blacksun spawn off of Red Sin Chimera, also a tier 3 Kimogila spawn off of Red Sin Chimera, and a tier 4 rebel spawn if you're Imp/RSF/CorSec off of D-435.

the best way to grind XP i have found is to run around and kill the tier 3 freighters outside of kashyyyk station. there are usually a couple ppl killing these on eclipse (back when i first started grinding these, nobody ever came... now its always camped

) but they are 5k XP per kill. the big freighter can hurt you pretty badly if u let it, so get right up close behind it before you attack. other than that, just shoot em, get a hit it and its 5k per kill

Hard? Duty missions are easy as and fun to boot (well the destroy ones anyways). It takes me about 35-40 mins to complete one tier4/5 RSF duty mission which nets about 450k exp, do that twice and then kill a few merc cruisers around kash and you're set. I nabbed 1.2 mil exp in a little under 2 hours last night. Plus you get a truckload of RE fodder too.

Oh, and I takes even less time with my Black Epsilon ace pilot. It sure beats the heck out of grinding jedi exp.

You can cheeseball it on the frieghters in kash, or in a back seat... but you're better off to go to kessel, and/or pick up duty missions from the stations. Dathomir station gives tier 3 black sun destroy duties with tier 4 bosses... I mention this because once you finish the duty, you don't have to zone to pick it up again, you just /comm the station. Also tier 3 NPC's die pretty fast, so the duty goes faster. XP in kessel is pretty good too

Well Kessel probably... or get into a 2-seater ship and go to deep space. I personally did it hard way - duty missions.

I don't understand what the problem is. I took a Blacksun duty mission last night, got an inspiartion buff, and went out. I made well over 400k (440-460 I think, I didn't check the exact number before I started) experience in under 2 hours. I get 2 waves of tier 4s, then a wave of tier 5s. On and on like that. Land, revisit trainer, repeat. I even got a couple of half decent loots out of it... and a lvl 8 weapon (woot).

Hmmm... last time I went to Kessel there was nothing there to kill except the Rebel corvette. Vettes... never one when you want one... I could not find anything elseto kill. There were no NPC ships, no player ships, just that stinking vette. Blah.

Anyway... 1 million XP sounds like alot, but itisn't.I even had the 7.5 million (uneeded) XPfor themaster box whenI mastered. Two weeks after mastering I had 6.6 million prestiege. I guess I kill alot of ships.

I can understand Imps not doing dutys but for Newts and Rebs, you've got to be crazy doing anything else. Why run around looking for gunboats when there's 1000's of T4 Black Suns that spawn just for YOU!

I ground it out doing duty missions my trainer gave me. It's not hard.

I really don't see why people want to 'grind' Tier4 so badly. It goes crazy fast just doing Destroy Duty missions! I run Smuggler's Alliance , and I can clear about half of a Tier4 box in one 45 minute Duty mission. Over the last couple of nights I've cleared 3.5 boxes of Tier4 at a nice fast pace, and had silly amounts of fun doing it. Never seemed like a "grind" to me.

*shrug* I still don't see why guys want to grab a seat in a POB sooo bad in order to "grind out Tier4". Just doesn't seem hard.
