All I lack is Yaw on my QID... My question is should I go ahead & RE it now, before the changes?

I don't see why, the new changes don't effect the space works at all, at least not in the immeidiate future.

Well I think he is probably concerned about the shipwright profession going away.

Well if I understand the new system...Shipwrights won't go away, they will become specialized traders.

There was me thinking he was commenting on the fact that our Reactor Drain fix will probably go away in the next publish, knowing SOE

Crafters will be paired with Architect and Droid Engineers in the "Engineer" sub section of trader. They're not going any where.

I wouldnt bother if I were you.
After all the space game is far too complicated as it is and no doubt will become 1 profession (instead of 9) with nothing but identical, generic equipment.

I should edit that post, when i said crafters i meant SW.
In the main FAQ in list 4 subcatergories. Domestic Goods, Structures, Munitions, or Engineering
Its easy to break down what will be going in where.
Domestic Goods: Chef and Tailor
Structures: Architect possibly SW
Munitions: WS and Most Likely AS
Engineering: Droid Engineer and maybe SW
That's my best guess at least.

As far as i'm awate you will have classes, those class will have sub skills, the more the advance the more skills you get.
But the crucial thing for me (and a dissopointing one) is that one you pick your "class" you can't drop it, only by rerolling can you become another class.
But when this hits live every character around before them will recieve 9 respec tokens to try out all the classes, on the 9 and final respec token you won't be able to change again. The tokens won't have a time limit, so you can switch at your leisure.

That really sucks... hopefully that will change. Not like I will ever change profs once I pick. (severe hatred of grinding, although it sounds like that is going away too)

Does this mean that my Smuggler will have to choose to be either a pilot or a Smuggler and can't be both? I'm just wondering becausethe list looks like Smuggler and Pilot are both listed as a class.
