If I were to buy a Jedi Starfighter would I have to do thequest in order to fly it? Some people say you have to and others say you don't. Please help me with this because I would really not like to waste 2-3mil credits

To fly the JSF you HAVE to complete the quest to be able to generate it.

You can then switch factions if you aren't imperial and still be able to fly it.

It starts by looting a disk from a skeleton about 10 meters from the NS stronghold POI on dath. And you have to be imperial.

Not really. Think about it...Vader gives you the ship. Anakin had a ship like this in ROTS. Is it starting to make sense?

These ships aren't made anymore, Vader is giving you his old ship. Hence having to do the quest to get it, and it being Imp only.

Ya i can see that, ok. But that still sucks. Like they should have a rebel one where u find a old jedis ship, i dont wont to be a imp, but i wont that ship. Do i think they have a mission for it, if u are a jedi, cz i'll tell ya, this jedi dont wont to work for them Empire, he was been fighting, for so long, and i think my rateing with them, is in the -3000.

No, not unless you have personally finished the quest up to the point that Vader gives you the deed. There is no need for Rebs-turned-Imps to finish it past that point, as the next reward is 3000 Imp Faction points.

Once you have recieved the deed from Vader, you can switch factions, re-grind back to 4xxx to fly it as a Rebel. You can also buy a spare and keep it as a replacement. But until you personally do the quest, you can't undeed it.

U see, i am a jedi, so i really wont a JEDI starfighter.

But, ok, iam fairly new, but did they ever have things like this before, and know anyone one can buy/fly one. Do u think they will every find a better way to do this, for us jedi, cuz i would soon, kill Vador, then work with him. But i really like that ship, .
