Thread: Freelance Pilot needs a question answered

I'm having some difficulties continuing my training as a Freelance Pilot. My skills are tier 2 and I've been sent to go to work for Jabba, so I'm to go to Jabba's Palace and see someone named Beissa. Not so much of a problem save the fact to get in I need to do something for the guard.. Like take out a number of CL 30 tusken raiders while I'm CL 11. I've asked someone inside if they can even find a guy/gal named Beissa and they said no. I've also tried /waypoint Beissa, and it gives me a waypoint, but it's way up north and when I get there all I find are high CL tusken raiders and no Beissa... *sigh*
Does ANYONE know what I'm talking about? Can anyone help me? At least confirm what I have to do or where I have to go? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

Yeah, Beissa stand accros the room from Jabba, so you'll have to do most of Jabba's themepark before you can talk to him... which sucks for new players who just wish to fly, but thats SOE for you

hmm i though tthere was a way around doing the theme park... i thought you could do a mission that will let you into jabbas. not 100% sure on that but i was pretty sure. But i thought i heard you were able to.

As I understand, there is an alternate way into Jabba's throne room. I never did it as I completed the theme park long before JTL came out, but the Gran at the tatooine station should be able to give you a space mission to get you into the palace.

Here's an option. Not sure if it will work. Try doing the Clone Armor Quest (if you don't have ROTW this won't work). You will be sent out to Jabba's and talk to Jawl just inside the big door. He's sends you to talk to someone in Wayfar. You get sent back to Jawl and he is supposed to give you a pass to the Throne room to talk to Jabba. While there, Talk to you pilot contact. This may only work once. Or might be a free pass all the time. The Clone Armor Quests start with Mort in Dearic Cantina and will take less the an hour to do. At CL 11 you may be help completing it. Or wait till some one else shows at you Clone contacts and group with them. Hope this helps.

you should still be tier 2 when you reach jabba. you can't get to 3-x-x-x unless you do jabbas missions.

You may be correct as it's been a awile since I've done it. But I'm pretty sure that once you get sent there that you had your chance with the space mission. Again, I could be wrong. It's worth a shot though.

I REALLY REALLY hope i can still take the space mission... i am a pure crafter... no fighting skills at all... and there was no mention of having to take the mission prior to going to Jabba's

So, i'm pretty much screwed, unles si get someone to babysit me the entire jabba's theme park

Try the Clone Armor Quest. You might get lucky and get a free pass from then on out. The quest takes like 30 minutes or less. Might save you alot of trouble.
