Thread: are you really itching for your heavy-x/RGint/vaksai? ive got a deal for you.
What i miss?
You are correct, you do not have to do the quest to fly the ship. Only 4333 (for which ever faction ship you choose). My main character is flying the RGI that my alt did the quest for.

Aye, it seems to be the best way to work it..or get a freelancer who can earn both the vaksai and rg tie or heavy x-wing to sell the ship they cannot use to you.

No problem. She actually quit the game after a two hour rant at me on certain things I shall not mention here but I think you could guess since I believe she gave you the same speech. Shame really...but anyway. She was glad to have given it to someone worthwhile too. The RG TIE is a serious contendor.
As for Winston, well /shrug. You got the drift of it... 
. Lets just say he isn't fond of RG TIES and their hitboxes.
As for your Heavy X-wing. Erm, don't worry you can give it to me 
. I'm sure I could find someone with a bugged quest worthy of it if you wanted to sell it. Otherwise, erm...decorate a table with the deed?
He made a few mistakes.
1.) No armor.
2.) I was inside him most of the time. That tells me his engine sucked OR..
3.) I think he was pusing pure pitch a few too many times. The instant i pulled on all 3 axis's, i had to be careful not to overshoot his trajectory and end up infront of him LOL.
If he had been able to get inside my turn circle and stay there, he would have had a chance. If you can get inside, you'll have a nice downward shot at the upper half of the RGT's ball, and thats where it counts
So.. ya, he's all 'tude, but i didnt see much substance to back up the 'tude. I will giveh im this though, he can think on the fly. First guy i ever seen who hypered on me.I think i busted a few eardrums on teamspeak with my laughter when i saw this. Scored a good hit on his engines and coudlnt quite get the follow up shot to connect in time
Made nice fire trail though, was pretty to look at.

I try and give good advice to all of my pilot friends but some just choose not to listen. /shrug. My stance on pvp in space is rather dubious at the moment. I feel very very enthusiastic about it but at the same time, there are certain things which almost deter me from it just as much.

WInston is still upset. lol Apprently he had a MK IV crafted engine. duhhh... duhh. duhhhmbass.
Im aamzed though , just listening to him, he thinks he's really hot stuff.
I explained to him exactly what i told you in my last post and hes still bitching about the RG tie.
I ought to give him an offer.
Unass that JSF and get in an A wing and ill unass the RGT and get in a standard T/I.
Think he'd take me up on it? Better question is, is he even worth the bother?
EDIT: oh btw, some arsehat was hatching ideas about Yachts and Epulse3 this morning for the event. Dunno if that would work in a yacht but it should be something to watch for.

/shrug. do what you like mate. I don't mind. My new stance is I got no time for attitudes with peole etc or duels of honour to see who is best etc. The game is too imbalanced and customisable shipwise to test true piloting talent [in fact the event Bria is having on saturday with limited starter heavy ships is as close as you'll get to balanced] and as for Winston and his attitude well....he can keep it if he wants..its not me so I don't care frankly. You're the more experienced pilot and in this situation the one 'in the right' so of course I'm on your side for this one to be honest. All I concern myself in now is organising events and trying to be as diplomatic as possible.
A-wings vs. T/I sounds fun though.

My guess is if you can use Epluse3 while in a yacht, you can kill others, and not be open to retallation.. Of course it just occured to me you have to be able to declare in a yacht first, and im pretty sure thats impossible. Now if you can use Epulse3 in a yacht or not to begin with i dunno.
