Has anyone noticed the lack of weapons being dropped in space recently.
Was out with the guild last night and of the 100 loot items we got there was 1 weapon!!

Actually, I've been getting a lot of weapons as loot. Not high quality, uber damage stuff, but it's not a complete waste either. Main loots for me have been engines..and shockingly, capacitors.

I've noticed that I've been getting a lot of capacitors and reactors. I've seen a lot less shield generators and engines dropping.

I have boosters as nearly 1/3 of my entire loot storage awaiting RE'ing

I have been completing 100+ loot runs for about one week now and I can say that WEAPONS and SHIELDS are the two lowest frequency drops on Bria. Mainly because I need 1 level 8 weapon and 3 level 8 shields to RE my reward parts, so I have been looking for them. I have managed to RE and upgrade every other componant of my ship, but I still have not looted what I need. I complete AT THE MINIMUM 2 100+ loot runs PER DAY. You would think I could find what I need in one week at this rate, but so far, no luck. And yes, I do vary the places I go, from Kessel Tier 5's to Tatooine Tier 1's, I've killed them all. I am currently trying to do all of the station missions, just in case. (RSF 4,4,4,4 - can't seem to finish the exit mission)
Just my opinion, however, and I am just one player.
And BTW, if you think I am getting rich from this, consider that I am trying to master Shipwright, and I have to BUY grinding resources at 4-5 CPU. I currently have less than 100k in credits.

I with you on the mastering Shipwright. MAN is it expensive, and I found a resource dealer that sells for $1.75 cpu.
I also have noticed a change in loot drops. Getting less weapons and shields and a lot more armor and boosters.

I got 5 L8 shields (yes 5) and a L10 shield, a L10 engine, and L7 and L10 guns all during 1 Black Sun Duty mission. That's just the items most relevant to what people are saying in this post. That was one very good run, balanced out by many mediocre and poor ones.
Point I'm making:Almost every daysomeone posts saying this is dropping more, that is dropping less. It's crap, the only thing it means is that thecode for drops in space is very very good at appearing random.

i seem to be looting a fair amount of guns and shields on lowca, ive finished the RE pile for my reward items too, ive also been looting lots of caps recently, i got a level stock for those too, its gonna be 1226 energy and 52 recharge

see i have been getting a ton of weapons.. loots a lvl 10 corelian weapon that does 3900 damage as base with .633 to both shields and armor.. but the mass is 57k..lol but i need a better cap.. have not looted on in about a week or so..

couple nights ago a buddy and I were flying for only about an hour. we each got 1 level 10 gun so seems ok to me.
