Thread: tier2, mission 2, corsec, inspect nyms cannon ship and retrieve shipment orders bugged? plz help

I go to do this mission, inspect the cannon ship, then it says i found the shipment orders.... i then disable the nyms cannon ships engines and it says i retrive the shipment documents... im supposed to return them to the corsec guy.... but when i hyperspace back to correllia space from lok, upon entry i get mission failed........???? then when i talk to the guy he is like, did you get the shipment orders ... i've done this mission like 4 times , even sat around and waited for more cannon ships to appear and no dice..... am I doing something wrong? please help

yea.. I'm on the same damn mission...
I can disable the ship and it tells me to dock when i do /inspect but it rejects my dock request...

you have to disable its engines using the [ ] keys to cycle supsystem targets ..... if you dock with it and you get a mission succesful please post if you find a work around somehow, this is getting very frustrating, ive done this mission 6 times now about to embark on #7

yea.. I did that..
well I went back to the trainer and I think this a "loop"mission... you have to go back up again.. the first was a decoy.. 2nd time up I could dock and get a mission sucess..

did you get mission success in space? im in space and have diabled 3 so far this time and it says i keep getting the shipment but no mission succesful

What i did was followed the instructions and then blew up the ship after i got the documents. I got to the ground and i successfully passed the mission. Maybe just try blowing up the ship after you get the documents, it might make a difference.

When I do this mission, I fly to the waypoint but nothing's there! I fly around the area looking for it, but find nothing. Then I sit at the waypoint for a long time waiting for something to spawn, still nothing. Is the Nym Cannon Ship supposed to be right near the WP? I guess I'll just have to try it again tomorrow, I've lost my patience with it today.

Hi,
Worked out fine for me yesterday: disabled engine, flew close to the cannon ship, pressed U for docking. Animation for docking seqence, then "Mission success".
The hard part was to find the thing in the first place.

I'm on this mission also and there's nothing I can do to make it successful, I even disabled and boarded TWO Cannon ships in the same mission round and still nothing, as soon as I leave the sector I fail, I've done it 10 times or so, it simply won't work for me, I can't progress.

I just spent 3 hours doing this mission over and over again. Not only is it a pain to find the cannon ship but the mission isn't even a success after you inspect it, disable it and dock it. i have even disabled it and then inspected it before docking. Nothing seems to work.
Talk about a slap in the face and then a swift kick in the pants.
