Thread: Name My Decimator!

I need something better than "Tyrant Lizard King" for my Decimator, and I'm turning to the Pilot Community for a name. Here are the guidelines:
I'd like a name that is reptile-themed. These reptiles may be from Star Wars, and also maybe pre-historic, incase you didn't know "Tyrant Lizard King" is the meaning of Tyrannosaurus Rex

No, very nice name, just doesn't fit cuz I'm a Zabrak...I 'spose I could RP that I stole it from a Trandoshan...

IPS (Imperial Patrol Ship) Peregrine (named after a falcon that can exceed over 200mph in a dive.
My naming conventions follow a simple rule. Jotun gets aviation references, Theolonius gets religious and mythological references.
Phoenix will bridge the gap because not only is it a mythical bird, but also the name of a soon-to-be-retired long-range missile, which is in itself an anachronism seeing as I don't use them.

Naming it the Peregrine also kinda, in hindsight, is a subtle mockery of the Millenium Falcon.

Well, anything having to do with any sort of TALONS or SPECTRES is overdone.
My advice is to find a specific j'nais se quoi that gels with your character and stick with it. I did with both my characters, and it's never really let me down.
Missile names seem to work well. Sidewinder, Phoenix (yet if anyone takes this name I'll hunt them down and kill them where they sit), Adder, Stinger, Mistral, Rapier...
