Thread: Best PVE JSF loadout?
- RE level 6 engine ..ypr is all around 69ish (not best..but good enough for now)
- Lvl 2 Reactor - 12000 output..cant remember mass....around 1500 I think
- Shield - dont remember the lvl or mass....but they push out 1900/1900
- capacitor - RE lvl 4 I think? 32 recharge rate
- DI - 17 speed
- 2x Big ass lvl 6-7 guns..each have 15k ish mass
- lvl 2 armor...(in other words dont let your shields down)
- Im not near SWG atm..otherwise Id have more info
I think I personally can improve on getting a better Engine..and lower mass shield/reactor/capacitor...but the output seems enough atm
A nice weapon toget for it is a nice reward from Eyma in Kachiro. The ionic cannon or something it is called.
Got one on mine and it's the best weapon I have stuck in it.

PvE priority for most accomplished pilots is going to be 1) guns 2) shield 3) engine. For crafted parts, that'd mean (IMO): experimental blaster and advanced blaster, both around .3 speed, a MK IV engine with at least 60 YPR and a MK IV shield - squeeze everything else in around that, cheating highest on the capacitor and DIif you've got wiggle room

For PvE 2 level 8 RE guns, an REd level 6 engine, and a crafted...um, level 7? shield. The rest is all filler.
The ship is so small you don't need much for defense, and twin level 8 guns make short work of NPCs.
My present JSF loadout is this.
Prenerf 14.7 speed DI, 500 mass
Prenerf level 6 RE'd reward engine
RE'd level 8 reward shield
Two RE'd ionic pulse cannons
RE'd level 6 cap (can get by with smaller, use this for cap to shield shunt)
RE'd level 4 reward booster (gets 12 seconds or more burn time)
Crafted level 1 reactor with a little over 12k output
Mark III Concussion Launcher
Chaff Launcher
Two level 1 lightweight crafted armor plates
My JSF, the Sharp Spiral II, works quite well in PVE or PVP.
my jsf is my mining ship(still kicks ass for a ship with 2 1500 dam mining lasers

but on my grevius which is my primary ship
2 lvl 7 .26 blasters
lvl 7 crafted engine
lvl 7 shield 1945/1945
lvl 2 armor
the rest is re'ed cap,reactor,di,booster

i get those all the time too! here is what I do
1. lvl 9 engine
2. lvl 7 shields
3. lvl 7 weapns (whatever the choice of the customer is)
4. lvl 3 cap.
5. lvl 3 reactor
6. lvl 3 DI
enough mass w9ll be left over for some armor/cm/missile launcher combo
If it were me, then a JSF setup for pve would be the same as pvp since I fly an A-wing for both purposes too.
Hmm...this is what my JSF would look like if I decided to fly one (which I won't..ever)
- Lvl 8 engine (I hav a 21 k mass one on my A-wing)
- mk I reactor or a good lvl 1/2 (1.5k mass~)
- lvl 4 capacitor (4.3k mass~)
- mk I booster (1k mass~)
- protecto net shield (lvl 7) (I have a 14k~ mass one)
- lvl 8 re'd reward blaster (My 22k~ mass one)
- lvl 7 ionic pulse weapon re'd(14k~ mass)
- pre-nerf DI or a lvl 1-4 (500 mass)
- whatever armour would fit on (?mass~)
- Mk III protons if I had room (5.3k~ mass)
With RO4, EO4, WO3, and CO4 that baby would hurt a lot

Xaxt my pve config for the eta
i use 2 re-enged level 8 guns with each around 13.9 energy per shot so with a good level 2 capi ull never get out of capi energy ..... engine level 6 re enged (mine is pre nerf but post nerf should do pretty well too ), crafted level 7 shield .... there was even place and energy for a pre nerf level 1 DI , micro chaff launcher and a booster if things get a bit too hot.
