I have a prenerf lvl6 reward engine that I have been using for along time, but haven't had it RE'd yet. The best lvl6 engine I have looted so far has YPR at 69.2/69.8/70.0, and the lowest mass is 9700. Can't remember reactor drain, 1700 maybe?

What kind of RE'd jobs have you people had, so I can see if I should keep looking for better parts? Here's your chance to show off, thanks in advance!

I have engines like Tomo's prenerf L6...

Nevermind their Level 8 and weigh 23K mass *rolls eyes*

My engine has a 71.1 pitch matched with a 72.6 yaw. Roll is low 70s as well.

I WILL best Tomo's engine...it's just gonna take a while longer.

EDIT: Not to mention I have the rarest piece of all, an UNUSED non-REed L6 reward engine - still has 555.x hp and armor.

pre-re stats, lookin to RE it right now...should RE to just under or over 70 for PYR.

Dont forget about that godly pre-prenerf looted 6 someone had with like 102 TS too....

Hmm.. I built that engine just over two months ago, and looking at the screenshot again, I realize I still haven't seen any decay on it.

Those are some ridiculous PYR stats, Kayl. How's the hunt for mass and energy drain?

You want to hit at least 70.0 on all stats, and you need a minimum of 67.4 on all YPR cats to do it. 67.3 isn't enough, and you can't see whether the digits PAST the 3 will nudge you over the threshold.

To make 71.0 you need 68.3, and for 72 you need 69.3, pre-RE, of course. 67.4s aren't TERRIBLY hard to find.

About the same as the hunt for another engine that'll hit 72.x yaw - a guildie of mine whom I've since talked to wasted a 72.5 post-RE L6 on a P.O.S. RE for KSE discs. I swear, I could've killed the sumbitch.

I've got pitch locked down. Drain could be better, however. I'm a perfectionist, I never RE unless I can meet or best the stats of an older component...and with something as irreplaceable as a cherry-new pre-nerf L6, you can't afford to half-ass anything.

Also, as remarkable as 72.6 yaw is in an L6, it only affords me a 1.3 Ymod over the 1.2 I have for pitch and roll.

Still, I'd fathom that small difference is why I've got a 50:6 ratio (though perhaps after my little sparring match with Washell that number might be a bit more rounded).

Oh man, every now and then when I'm going over the bazaar I see some lame RE'd 6 with like 78 speed, 10K mass.. and then a pitch or yaw stat at 71-72. Then I get sad.

It's that exact reason why I typed up this monstrous little number.

Thanks for all the responses Kayl, thats a very nice post about REing there, and I agree with you 110% about the lvl4 boosters....I just RE'd a nice little number and constantly find myself staring at my booster energy and wondering when it will run out! I used to just let my booster burn out on its own when I was running away from a turning gunboat or vette, now I have to turn it off myself lol.

As for my engine, I can see I have the pontential for some nice YPR stats, but I think I will hold out longer for lower mass. Like many have stated, why half-ass a rare prenerf reward engine?
