Thread: Quick Refire question.
Any help appreciated.
Sounds like an L10.
EDIT: off the top of my head the best refire rates you can obtain..
I think a boltdriver (L7) is like.. .321? something like that.
L8 reward guns tend to hover around .410 or so. Maybe as low as .390
L9's tend to have the mass of an L10, the damgage of an L8, but the refire rate is wicked quick. I have an L9 that has a refire rate of 0.300 for example.
L10s i think can get as fast as .370 (or was that .321?) i forget honestly. Havent REd anything in awhile so im a little rusty.

Unfortunately if you want them to "alternate" when holding the button down, you have to get a weapon with a different rate of fire and you'll still get a syncronous fire ever 3 to 4 seconds. Your best bet would be to get a weapon with a refire rate of .04 to .05 above or below your weapon's rate of fire.
I've found that on cycle fire, when you hold down the button, the following shot(s) occurs around .28 seconds after the first shot(It might differ with a different initial gun, but this is what I get when i'm using my .250 guns).
So the shot pattern would look like this.
Assuming your 1st weapon (.370 cycle) and your2nd weapon (.32 recycle)
: Weapon - Time -> Time between shots
1st shot: 1st - 0 seconds
2nd shot: 2nd - .28 -> .28
3rd shot: 1st - .37 -> .07
4th shot: 2nd - .56 -> .19
5th shot: 1st - .74 -> .18
6th shot: 2nd - .84-> .10
7th shot: 1st - 1.11 -> .27
8th shot: 2nd - 1.12 -> .01
So you get a "syncrounous fire" every 1.10 seconds or so..
Me personaly I use crafted guns with a refire rate of .250...put then on my krayt....hard to dodge shots coming in at around at a rate of .08 seconds...
edited to make the table thingy a little bit neater.

My current gun is 0.310, so it must be too quick.

Ok...I just reread my post and realized I did something completely wrong....I made the second gun .28 recycle speed. Chart should read like this.
So the shot pattern would look like this.
Assuming your 1st weapon (.370 cycle) and your2nd weapon (.32 recycle)
: Weapon - Time -> Time between shots
1st shot: 1st - 0 seconds
2nd shot: 2nd - .28 -> .28
3rd shot: 1st - .37 -> .09
4th shot: 2nd - .60 -> .23
5th shot: 1st - .74 -> .14
6th shot: 2nd - .92-> .18
7th shot: 1st - 1.11 -> .19
8th shot: 2nd - 1.24 -> .13
Mind you if you 2nd weapon fires first....(since your on cycle) you'd start of with a syncronous fire situation....bah....this is getting me a head ache....
It syncs if I hit a snag, but I can get it back to the way I want it in a few seconds.
I have a potential .307 L7 in the works if I can get around to looting or finding someone with .64x+ pre-RE L7s on Eclipse.

Pesonnaly i think the best weapon combo as an Armek Elite paired with a borestal

Why is weapon sync, or rather, lack of so important? Just asthetics?

Its not essential, just my prefered way of shooting. With a constant stream of bolts there's more chance of landing a hit than with a group blast.
Looks like the dream is over.
