I've been trying to finish the ace mission for about 4 days. I've tried 5 times and I've only seen the corvette twice, of which both times someone else was already attacking the vette.
Im a Storm Squadron pilot, started in Bestine, received the ace mission from the High Admiral in Naboo palace. A friend said that they received their Storm Squadron ace mission from a trainer on Endor.
Of those 5 times, 2 i found the corvette but it was someone elses spawn and they were already attacking it. One time my group of 3 and I waited at least an hour and 45 minutes at the corvette entry pointan ace pilot friend/guildmatehad saved previously. During this time we found that previous players hadnt killed the gunboat escort before the corvette, so the 2 gunboats were flying around the exit point (also saved by the guildmate). We killed those and waited for nothing. The last two times I tried i waited at least a half hour in kessel and found nothing.
Are there multiple spawn points for the Corvette? I am sure that the WP we have been using is legitimate, seeing as the exit point is good. It would explain a little bit, but an hour and a half is a long time to wait, and we waited longer.
Is my mission bugged?
I just want to fly my Decimator, is that too much to ask? I want it all over and done with. Im sick of sitting in Kessel waiting for something i'm not even sure will spawn. I mean, there arent even any ships to kill really. I rarely see a gunboat, even if Iwanted to risk going against one, and the rest of the rebel fleet seems non-existent in the system.
Whats the problem, if any?

In my experience, the spawn timer for the Corvette is around 2 hours, provided the escort is destroyed.
If you do see another group attacking the Corvette, you can still attack it. So long as you damage it and are in the area when the Corvette is destroyed, you'll complete the mission.
You can also check the Pilot Forum forHow-To's and whatnot concerning the pilot master missions.

Just let the other group know nicely, I'm sure they'll understand. If they don't, hit it anyway, there are enough targets to go around if somebody doesn't kill all the guns using torps.

Your friend is incorrect. Master missions are only given by the rebel and imperial admiral, respectively on corellia and naboo.
The Corvette spawn happens roughly every 2 hours, it is in the system for 30 to 45 minutes. It's not spawned by the mission so it's never someone's spawn. It is however good manners to ask if you can join in the fight, or even better, join their group.
The only thing that can bug this mission is the gunboats at the exit spawn, and you're aware of that.

LOAD KILL THE CORVETTE!!!! Use the rebel chip All shields to maximum on the front and just plow away!!!! (This post is made in amusement, please ignore) And I was just farming xp and faction in kessel last night and saw it not once, not twice, but three times. It's there, trust me, when you just happen to be where it pops, look out for your life.

"In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team"
I so wanted that van growing up!

Sir, I had that van, not a real van, but a plastic van, it was almost like the one that was on Robot Chicken this week, and yes, I too am an avid A-team fan, but lets all forget about the replacement character Frankie, he never really was a member.

I used to love airwolf. Now it breaks my heart.
- That should rip of the rotor!
- Mavericks won't fit in there or even be used against such a target!
- No way that thing can fly several 1000 miles without refueling!
Damn, why did I had to get educated ![]()
At least the A-team had some nice lessons.
- Bullets can not harm human beings
- Any in-promptu prison is always equipped with the tools and raw material to make a fully functional armored car
- The recommended way to get around fear of flying is by being screwed over by your friends

B-A seemed to be able to hide tanks of gas for torches, and enough metal for spot welding 300 lb plates on the side of a car somewheres.....maybe it's in his backpack. (BTW, IRL friends play on the same server, we are B-A Baracus, Templeton Peck, Haannibal Smith, and Howling-Mad Murdock.
