I'm trying to see howfast I can make my A wing go. As a rebel pilot, its the only ship I get that has 100% engine speed. I know the Imperials get the TIE interceptor and then the RGI for even more mass, and the freelancers get the Vaiksi(spelled wrong i believe) with the most masds of all, but i still wanna set the record in an A wing.
What are some of the speeds people have gotten, in what ships, and what stats on engine/booster.
I just hit 2193 in my A wing with a 119.2 sop speed engine and a 50.4 top speed booster, along with engine overload 4, I heard something about someone hitting like 2400 and i'm wondering how the hell thats possible.

It's possible because those bigger ships can hold a bigger reactor and run EO4.

you might be right, need to launch again and test it, but i'm seriously being told that nobody else has tried this lately?

Yeah, top speed is reletivly easy to calculate.
Your engine = 119.3
Awing'sspeedX = 1.0
Engine Overload4 = 1.4
Your Booster = 50.4
BaseSpeed = engine* speedx = 119.3
OverloadedSpeed = BaseSpeed *Overload4 = 167.02
FinalSpeed = 10 * (OverloadedSpeed + Booster) = 2174.2
Due to the game's rounding though, you only get 2173.
A guy on my server claimed he went faster, but he had like a 60-70 speed booster in that setup, and had to use a Heavy TIE to fit it all. We asked for proof of this booster and he never replied, so its doubtful. I don't think you could ever make one that high and I haven't yet heard of any loot ones that good.
Fastest I've ever gone is 2174, and another person on this thread has too.

Top speed record on wanderhome;
with a looted and reverse engineered engine 123 spdand a crafted booster 49.7 spd
EO4and these parts pushed my Vaksai to 2222
with some of the boosters Ive seen crafted on other servers Id get this machine even faster..

wow. thats NICE engine. you must have been real real real real real lucky, and i mean really lucky when you got that from the nym's starfighter quesr right? i guess that engine was 115 speed or so before-RE?
and i thought my friend's reward was nice when it RE'd to 103...

My Nova Courier is shamefully my fastest ship at 1709. 117.3 speed Type V engine with Engine Overload 4 and a49 point something speed Elite Booster.
