Thread: Spacebombs & gunboats
Is that like a Zen question? What is the sound of one hand clapping sorta thing? If a gunboat explodes in Deep Space, and no one is around to see it, who gets the faction?

it takes 3 Spacebombs.... then i get pissed off and shoot it w/ my RE'ed Tri-cannons and *clap with 1 hand* again*

I don't like seeing 15k worth of resources go up in smoke, personally. Especially as decent twinL7 REd guns can put out the same damage as a Mark II Spacebomb in about 2 seconds.

Well, I soloed this one in a Heavy Scyk, without destroying the gunboats. I just kept them busy, like a mosquito keeps an elephant busy
You can get them to agro on you and leave the Corvette mostly alone.
Or, do what everyone else does, and wait until the last possible moment to disabled it. You get one gunboat, max. Cut-off point is about 4k out from the Station, I think.

No it doesn't. I just tried it; they must have fixed it since I did it for my X-wing. The gunboats now do damage to the bridge.The flight path was changed.... so I hear.
When i got the heavy X and Vaksai the GB would hit the reactor and bridge if i took out the vettes guns prior to capturing it. (they respawn and shoot back but arent counted as hit spots anymore) if you left the guns the GB's would hit the reactor/bridge still IF there was a gun left alive once all the guns had been destroyed the vette would be invincible.
Havent tried it in the last 1-2 weeks so its possible there was a stealth 'fix' ![]()

I dont even use spacebombs lol, the only ones i've ever used were Mark III concussion missiles whihc did 9k+ dmg on impact, and that was only when doign vette runs to make stuff go a little easier. Most of the tiem i never use any ordinances at all

Understandable, I keep them because there's some things you just don't park your Nova Courier in front of and go running down the hall.
