Wow, maybe I need to move to your server.
I can't back out of my driveway without hitting two JSF's and a B-22.
Very very rarely see any Y-8s other than my own, mainly because it's a pain in the arse to actually use. (would KILL for a better fire arc on the lower turret and more pilot visibilty for good situational awareness in relation to the turrets)

I agree about the pilot seat sucking butt. It really should have been one of the two seats up at the front of the ship. That central seat shouldn't even be there or should be replaced with something else, like the ability to access any of the turrets through some kind of "Command Console" system.
As it stands, the seat slightly resembles the "Captain's Chair" that you might see in something like Star Trek, but it doesn't have the Star Wars type controls in front of it you would expect to see since it IS the pilot's seat. That's my one MAJOR gripe with that ship, the Pilot's chair is just wrong in those ways I have outline above.

My throne (the captains chair) is surrounded with stuff so people can't see me in the undignified squatting position. With a pistol in my hand it looks like I'm manipulating a flight stick.
