Thanks to the fine work of a BRILLIANT team, they made it easy for me, I swear, I got to see the Corvette explode under my guns and am now an Imperial Ace, I'd give all of 'em medals if I could. But I'm not here to crow...I went to the Admiral in Theed, talked to him, got my ugly helmet, and he told me he was giving me a medal.

I looked, no medal in inventory. And no, my inventory had something like twenty slots free, not full at all. Asking him again, he praises me for the accomplishment, and says he's awarding a medal, still nada...multiple tries, multiple 'Here's your medal!', no neck jewelry. Blessed be no more ugly as sin beige helmets. Okay, so I'm biased, I'd rather have had red for flying my Guard Interceptor.

I've put in a CSR ticket already, but I'm wondering...is this a problem with *me* only, with Sunrunner only, heck, with Imperial pilots only? Or are all pilots coming up emptyhanded when it comes to getting their award? If this is broken bigtime, I want to make sure the devs are aware of it, lest every pilot be disappointed; devs can't fix something that they don't know about, naturally. Thanks!

Hmm. Just thought of something, I'll give it a try...I wear my Imperial theme park necklace nonstop (awarded by Vader himself, what can I say, I show my Imperial pride), I'll unequip it and try again tonight when I get home. Wouldn't that be bloody silly, he tries to hang it on your neck, and if he can't because something else's already there, you don't get it...

Hey! You made ace! Congrats on that! Let me know how you like your Decemator. I can't wait to get mine. I just need to get back to grinding. I've been playing with shipwright recently, and though it is space related, it doesn't really get my any closer to the 3.5 million XP I need to go through Tier 4.

I got my medal. I made ace before they added them. But I went back and got it afterwards.

Same here - I'm a MPilot for who-knows-how-many months already and I got it without problems a couple of days ago. It took me quite a while to remember where the person who originally gave me the Master mission was though.

Huh, there is a medal? Guess I'll try to get one when I sign in.

I did not receive my medal when I mastered about ten days ago. I guess the rebel alliance is hard up for cash and just can't afford to give me one.

Time to go Imperial pilot I guess. The Emperor is loaded with cash so I know he can afford it.

Haven't done more than a little go-round with Dalnara in it as gunner, and it was sssssllllllloooooowwww with my TIE Bomber's engines, all I had to put in it Yes, I'm a weird person who used a bus to fight all the way to Ace, including the Corvette, I felt like crying when I packed up the Bantha Bus--haven't gotten rid of it, may put it back in my datapad with level 10 goods in it if I don't like my Oppressor. Or my crimson TIE. Or my Actis. Or my Y8. Or my Decimator. What am I forgetting...oh, yeah, the Aggressor! Nahh, won't get tired of that one, that ship rocks. Yes, I have got a lotta ships, and have done a lotta quests... It was almost anticlimactic, it happened so fast, here I am grinding up the last of the Rebels I needed for the mission just prior to the Corvette, while my team keeps the thing busy...then I hyper to Theed, get the Vette mission, hyper back, show up when the gunship escort is already dead and the weapons for the big beastie are gone...then keep pounding at it 'til it's destroyed. Not a scratch on my bomber, unreal. Still a team effort, and I'll get my share of lumps when a few of my guildmates are ready for their Mastery, I'm sure.

Any rate, I'll see about getting ubercool parts for it tonight, already have multiple Tier V shipwrights' waypoints in my datapad. Already know I have a gunner or ops person (Dal), and my guild can surely muster more than enough people to man that tank. We shall see!

Mkay, so may just be me bugged. I'll see if a CSR contacts me tonight, plus do what I thought of, unequip my medallion and see if that makes a difference. Silly thing to get worked up about, getting a medal that likely nobody would be able to see properly unless I'm nude, but what the hey--I earned it!

May've been before they put in the medals? I don't know when that was... You could try going back to whoever gave you the Vette mission (no idea who that would be for Rebels) and talk to him, I hear people who made Ace prior to the medals existing have been able to go back and get their jewelry.

I love my Bomber. I don't fly her much anymore, since the Heavy TIE I picked up is so much more useful, but I'll never pack her up. Ideally, I'll eventually have my Bomber, my Red Interceptor, and my Decemator. I may or may not use the ETA-2 I picked up, depends. Of course, I'm still holding out for my Lambda, but I may actually leave the Empire and go SA in the meantime. If I do that, I'll leave my Heavy TIE loaded up, to make getting back to Ace easy once they give me the Lambda.

There were posts about the medals here on this board before I became a Master Pilot. I've gone back twice and all Burke tells me is 'Good job, thanks for putting your life on the line, now go away'. I feel like Chewbacca at the end of Episode 4.

Got a civilian medal for getting ace the other night.
