Thread: BEWARE! If you are Rebel and an RSF pilot, you CANNOT get Arc-170, Even if you are overt.

You can get the quest, sure. You can even get all the way to the end, AFTER you do the prison break. But the final phase, where you have to break through the IMP blockade by destroying like 10 Tie fighters is not possible. Why you ask? Because RSF pilots CANNOT target Imperial craft. You can, however, target and destroy the ARC-170 which is holding the prisoners you were meant to protect.


I tried it thrice just to be sure. I ended up destroying the Rebel Arc-170 out of frustration the 3rd time itried the mission.



Can I get an Amen on this one? Any rebel RSF pilots out there?

Solution: bring along a Rebel buddy in an X-wing or who flies for CorSec or the Smuggler Alliance. Problem solved.

Talk to the Queen in the way back of the Theedpalace (Turn on cntrl M) and make sure you are not on leave or else she will not talk to you.

Has anyone tried the "bring a Rebel Pilot with you" idea. Why am I thinking it will not work....hmm...


I am RSF and cannot complete the mission as it requires you to destroy tie fighters which RSF's cannot do. Since it is MY mission will it allow others to do my dirty work?

It normally works, as long as the ships are destroyed. If you're really worried about it, hop into the turret of a non-RSF krayt or YT, and then kill imps as you please.

So, that begs the question, can I have a Rebel Pilot buddy come with me to destroy the Tie fighters? It sucks that I can do the entire mission and then I get stuck there. BAH!

you shouldnt be an RSF pilot and a rebel at all. Considering they made you shoot down rebels in many of the missions and made you kill a rebel corvette with imps to get master, it should have been clear that RSF is the militia of the imperial navy. They are IMP sympathizers at the very least. You cannot possibly even pretend to believe you are just now aware of this fact unless you are pretty new to RSF itself. You cannot attack imperials in any mission, you cannot help rebel friends do their pilot misssions, you cannot help destroy the imperial corvette, you cannot do anything with rebel in space.


an RSF pilot and rebel groundling is the most impotent combination imagineable.

Really? Is it different than theregular pilot missions then? With those I've had people riding shotgun with me to do their missions and they still got credit.

I was on leave when I talked to the Queen and I would recommend it cause then you can just walk in and then out of the imp prison without fighting the whole place. Also bear in mind htat the Arc is bugged and that you cannot generate it after you get the deed.

Really? Is it different than theregular pilot missions then? With those I've had people riding shotgun with me to do their missions and they still got credit.




Maybe i was thinking of escort/dock mission then.
