hey all, just got JTL today, and i signed up for the Crimson Phoenix, she didnt give me the flight suit, so im wondering, is this a glitch? or did they stop giving them out?

that, and I was wondering if its at all possible to get reb Faction Points out in space, rather than running around trying to find a rebel missions terminal, cause I have too low a faction to fly any other than the first mission for the trainer (keeps telling me Alliance Command has grounded me)

is there any solution to this?

You get the suit after reaching 1111, no ?

And I don't think yo uneed rebel points. Once you did all missions you need to get enough XP to train to 1111, then talk again to the quest giver, he'll send you to the next one.

I forgot when I got the suit, but you do get reb faction points after finishing each non-duty mission. And I hear that if you declare at the space station you get faction points for killing NPC's , but not sure, I am to scared to declare, still too low and dont like the idea of a 1-2 shot dog'fight.

You'd be better off doing missions from a rebel mission terminal to get your rebel faction back in the positive. You have to declare to gain them from kills in space, and I'm not sure that'd be a good idea at very low skill. But then again, you may not run into any declared imps, so hard to say.

I had the same thing happen when I signed up with the Crimson Phoenix. I had negative rebel faction from doing the Empire's Retreat for the badge, and the rebel pilot trainer let me do the first mission and then grounded me and wouldn't give me any more missions until I got my faction points up. I just went to Moenia cantina and took missions from the terminal there. About an hour or so later, I was back in space doing my mandatory trainer missions.

Right now, you won't run into many declared imps. When everybody starts catching on to that fun trick, you might want to head out in a squad while declared.

so if I declare from the station in say Corellia, I'll be able to get faction from the NPC TIE's that are around?

Yes, Tier 2s give as much faction as your basic ground trooper, higher levels give more. Depending on time of day and location, its a great way to get faction.

Declared from a station. You're covert in space regardless of ground status 'till you declare. I went from corporal to colonel in about a week from the faction points. Now I declare to bank extra for later.. and it adds a little spice to flying. The one time I've been jumped was from (what I thought was a) covert Imp. Scuttled him quick. Then missed a shield shift and left my rear shielding down for his wingman to blast me. whoops.. heh, lesson learned.

Amusingly enough, as I was repairing I got tells, "@#$#%#$, I was almost finished with my mission!!" I replied, "Well I guess you shouldn't've fired on me, eh?" LOL! I still look for him whenever I launch. *shrugs* it takes up some of my spare moments.

As for rewards, never got the orange flight suit or any other 'till the jacket and helm at master. dinno...
