Can Imperials get Black Sun missons? And if so from where?

Actually there is a Duty mission for Imps from Dath station, but its only tier3 BS with tier4 bosses. Grand total 15 eligible ships for the Helmet drop.

Well if Imperials can't get Black Sun missions and the Dath duty mission is worthless, what then next best thing for imperials?

Make friends with a Neutral or Rebel and tag along on the "cool kid" Duties, or camp the single consistent tier4 Black Sun spawn, Endor space, near Red Sin chimaera.

as a SA pilot I just tried to get a BS duty from the RSF trainer and was told that I can't, nor can I get the duty from the CorSec trainer on Dant.

That would be because you have a Space mission of some sort already, not because they limit you. Neutral pilots can get duty missions from any Neutral trainer. Same for Imperials and Rebels amongst their own trainers.
