It seems like Bstrike3 would be less deadly than Epulse3...more of a distraction...but less deadly. It would also be more Star Warsy by reflecting the Empire's swarm tactics.
Or I could be wrong and we can use it. I've only tried to use it once in PVP and it wouldn't work.
Just wondering.

i think they didn't let you do it to prevent lag because they where expecting massive PVP battles.

Last Saturday's PvP event on Starsider had just about 40 pilots in it. Just imagine the lag if every Imp pilot launched a bomber strike at the start of each skirmish.

good point. but would the lag be any worse than it is when the ISD goes into it's 5678937846512986 gun salute?

I think the Pilot commands are all crap. The overloads mess up your droid commands and the other abilities are unbalanced due to the fact that they are designedd to be used on NPCs (i.e. epulse destroys all players but barely scratches npcs). Until they actually make them something interesting and balanced, I think they should completely take them out of PvP anyway. No bstrike, no epulse, no nebula blast (lol).
Actually, come to think of it, a cool pilot ability is the Rebel's repair one. When used correctly it can save your skin and maybe even get you a kill if your opponent left you for dead, yet its not an "I Win" button. I would like to see more abilities like that to be used in PvP.

I'd like to see some Freelancers and Imps combine with pirate trap and multiple bomber strikes...

Nebula blast owns....when you can find a nebula, drag a player into it, use it when they are close enough, and hope it registers the hit.../sigh

You can use /bstrike3 in PvP - it's just really rude, and it's not technically PvP.

It would be useless anyway. In pvp a Rebel isn't going to get touched by a npc ship if they know what they're doing. In fact I doubt I'd notice tha they're there. If I've been jumped whilst killing off multiple t5s in DeepSpace, everything and anything NPC just gets forgotten in my head until my enemy is dead.
