I dont normaly go telling stories, or brag, but i thought this was just funny.

So take the "space composite" out for a spin (wanted to test it out against the ISD), and i go into DS as a rebel and look around for any overt flies. Naturally they're arent any, so i figured it was time to play with the ISD. Im half way considering trying to pick off every gun off the ship, but opted to blow it up instead. So right after i pop it, i notice this firespray following me. I was thinking maybe he just came in, so i keep untargeting him and spaming my hostile key to wait for him to come up. In the meantime i lay into the boosters to get away from him. Of course even with full boosters at 1600+ speed hes still gaining on me. That's scary. By now i know i can't outrun this guy so i flip around and get behind him. Of course since its also well established hes not hostile.

So he goes about attacking the ISD. So im sitting there watching him, they guys really proficent at it. Given that he was acutally running me down earlier, i figure, "you know this is probably one of those rare guys that can acutally kick ass in a FS". At this point i coudlnt resist, i strated running my overloads again, and then hyper out to reenter DS as an imperial.

So i re enter, and find him, and start my approach. The battle music starts playing, i figure, "ok, he knows him here now." Then much to my surpise, he shoots me a group invite.

"hmm ok, he hasn't figure it out yet"

So i back off in full boost the other direction to give me time to click decline and to give him time to put 2 and 2 together. So again, he starts to approach me. I know i cant outrun him, so i flip around and get on his tail.

Now at this time, im pracitcally jumping up and down in my chair. I felt like a cartoon dog chasing his tail going "oh boy oh boy oh boy!!!" So i have the ass and of a big fat freaking FS infront of me. Life coudlnt be better, right? So what do i do? My guess is subconciously i was expecting him to pull some sort of pitched turn. I shot ahead of him at least FOUR FREAKING TIMES! To put it another way, i acutally had time to put in two MK2IR's up his tailpipe while i was at it.

At this point im thinking to myself, "OK Dumbass's hes obviously flying straight and is not going to turn, and you can't hit the broadside of a f**king mountain!". ( I guess the obvious hadnt quite hit him yet) So i finally figure out that maybe i should aim directly at him instead of leading and blow him up. Which i did, but... well, whatever rapax, you suck.

After all this i can conclude the following:

1.) I suck.
2.) Skill - if you don't use it, you lose it. See point 1.
3.) The "John Kerry" remarks i received afterwords would indicate that im going to have an intresting time as a mercenary.
4.) Did i mention i suck?
5.) I suck.

It was in good humor ( i think). He ended up adding me to hsi friends list after chatting with him for a bit, so.. i guess it was. lol

Hang on. He killed you? Am I reading this right? Or you killed him and he was just ridiculously unskilled? /confused. Its not your presentation either, I just genuinly feel I'm losing my grasp on the English language as of late =/

CHances are if i go anywhere, im gonna suck up the lag and name change and go to SS.

I swear, i can't login and not get tells from from people on that server that keep badgering me to move

If i start getting tells from other servers ilke i do SS, my heads going to pop from an aneurysm.
Let me tell ya its a joy juggling tells from two different people on my server, and 2 or 3 other pople from SS, and fly, at the same time.

Would that be a good time to mention that we started another story arc with the regular weekend events? What was it yesterday? about 25 overt fighters going at it, plus 2 covert multis who fought each other with /duels?

You're hoping to pick up more pilots for the Empire than we do for the Alliance.

Seriously, though, I know Leaph is always excited when he's flying on Starsider, since there's oftentimes activity. On slow nights, we've staged group v group duels among the Rebel pilots, and I know Harotak asked to join us one night right before I logged. We can always use more pilots, and I've usually found we have a fairly consistent and civil community of pilots on both sides. So yes, I'm encouraging you to at least log some hours on Starsider flying, and see what you think.

Hopefully, with chat tab fix coming (in theory), the Alliance pilot channel will light up again. Been pretty dead since chat was broken again.
