let me rephrase this
when i try to kill them they don't stop coming. I kill half of them and another group of them come. when i try to avoid them and dock with the ship to deliver the gift i sit there motionless docked to it while they shoot me. then I get another waypoint to do it again. I died on the way to the third one

Need to get some friends to keep them off of your back while you dock.

I am working on this mission too.
I am wondering if it is possible to lure the Death Watch guys some distance from the rendevous points and use in-system hyper jumps to get back to the general vicinity of those points.
I know if they are simply disabled, they will be automatically destroyed fairly quickly, and thus allow for more to spawn and take their place. This tactichas not gained enough time for me to get very far before I have to run away or get blown up.
So now, the question is, can you get them far enough away that they won't persue you?
If that is not possible, then can you gain enough time by drawing them away that you have enough time to accomplish your mission?

just to explain my situation a little better they give about 1200 to 1600 exp each and when I tried to kill them I got about 130,000 exp before I died
I got all the tier 1 & 2 skills and 2 of the tier 3 skills and this guy the tier 3 guy won't teach me anyore of the tier 3 skills until I complete the mission

Heheh. We had a wookiee hunting party/ turkey shoot to get me through this one. I think about 6 wooks tearing it up, and all of us got plenty of experience.

I finally got through this, solo, and with rather little pain on the last try.
Here is how I did it:
The first rendevous appears to be nearest to the Emperor's Hand point. I hypered in to, I think, Dathomir's Vitality, which is a considerable distance away.
Soon enough, the bad guys spawned and came after me in Dath's Vitality. I then hypered to Emperor's Hand and made my first rendevous, and I believe my second rendevous before the bad guys were again close enough to cause me trouble.
I then hypered back to Dath's Vitality and waited a bit until once again the bad guys were on me. I hypered backto Emperor's Hand and finished the delivery(s), and did the last leg, which was an escort mission. There was a bit of fighting during the escort, but it was very easy.
There was no need to fire a single shot, unitl the escort, and I used no countermeasures at any time.
I found that in-system hyper jumps can make this mission very easy to solo.

Amusingly enough I discovered this technique independently on the 1st Tier 4 mission... The Wook Air Force was getting slaughtered piecemeal and I made a run for the rendez-vous point, only to have an Imp Gunboat w/ escorts jump me.... end of story. Tried next day solo, jumping as soon as they were on me and coming at the Rendez-vous from the other direction. Bingo! So easy I thought it must be a bug!

You need 1 or 2 friends. simple as that.
I tried it solo... barely hypered out of there before ships number 75 through 100 took me out. I then brought along a tier 4 friend.... it was almost pathetic how easy it was with that little help.

Wow, thanks, that worked great! I had tried it solo 5 times before finally succeeding with your method. Very cool.
