OK, I've read the FAQ's, I've searched (for all the good it does with the search function screwed), and I need to know...
WHAT IS A TIE/ IN???
I know what a Tie is, I know what a Tie Interceptor is ( not it BTW, I checked, they're listed seperately, and not the same ship), I know wgat the Tie Agressor, and the Bomber, and all the rest, but I can't find the Tie/ In listed anywhere with either a pictire, or where to buy the damn thing !!
HELP !!

Similar thread in the JTL forum.
Tin foil hat theory is that its a typo, and sony acutally meant Tie/Ln for Linefighter. It is an acutal varient. There is however to the best of my knowledge, no tie fighter varient in cannon that is a T/In.

Thanks, I really appreciate it. I just made Tier 1111 today, and I'll go Teir 2 tomorrow ( almost got the XP banked, you guys were right, Inquisition is easier that Corsec, so far atleast, anyway.)
I got my Issued ship, not bad, but weak as water. I bought tha same ship off the Bazaar but with more mass, upgraded it, and KICKED AFTERBURNERS all morning. I just went Imp on that toon for the JSF, but I think I'll keep him Imperial. I'm having more fun in space as an Imp than I have as a Reb or a Corsec member. Man, I wondered where all the Content was in the game. Now I know...the Imperials have been hording it for themselves.
Thanks for the quick answer again.

Revisit this statement after you master and want to run teir 4 duty missions

Yeah, I hear ya Ducimus. But it's pretty much the same for all the Aces. Once you finish the Top Box, it's all down hill from there, unless you love PVP. But, what can ya do? Grind another Squadron, or Faction I guess.

Well, as content goes, rebels and privateers (in that order) have it better post ace then imperial pilot.
Rebs have a teir 4 destroy mission that spawns ties, and just as good as farming FP in DS. Not to mention a BS destroy duty with a good cash payout.
Privateers have the BS duty.
Imps, have neither.

Tin foil hats have it wrong again... It's Tie Indigo, as in the indigo blue it's colored. Me ftw!

Hmm well, lets see, according to Some guy geeky enough to catalogue them all , Tie Frontline fighter (aka Tie Linefighter, or T/LN) " differs from the original TIE Space Superiority Fighter model in that its engines are 20% more powerful, its double laser cannons replace the TIE Fighter's single laser cannon, and the hull plates are of a darker hue."
I dont see any T/In listed anywhere in this cataloge. Hard to beleive that it was overlooked on that website.

Here is a link to wikipedia.org which has ALOT of the Star Wars ships. I didn't see a TIE/In, but there were a few other TIE varients.

...That's because it's the other way around. The cannon goes in the TIE.

Look in the Skills Sheet that you access ingame by pressing CTL+S. Then Check out the Imperial Navy Profession, and look at the Certifications. It's Listed as Tie/In. May be a Typo, but it's there. It may mean Tie/Ln. Just wondering.

heh im not ingame now, but are there serifs on the font in the ctrl-s window? I mean, is there anyway to definitely say that it says Tie/In and not just Tie/ln? Since, in a sans-serif font like this, you cant really tell the difference between Tie/In and Tie/ln, see?
