Thread: New RotW Ships In Gamespot Article!

Just saw this new article on Gamespot with several new ships to be added with Rage of the Wookies, including beefed up version of the TIE fighter and XWing. Just thought I'd share in case anyone missed it.

Good lord those are some nice additions. That Royal Guard Interceptor is going to have me busy for the first couple days after this comes out, I'm afraid.

Oh the imp guard is awesome but the other 2 are such rips lol unless you get extra mass with them

OK, gotta admit the Crimson Interceptor looks awesome. Also, even though there are no "modified" Privateer ships, I'm betting the ARC-170, the Jedi fighter, and the Greivous fighter are all 3 Privateer ships (balances out fairly well that way). At least I HOPE the ARC 170 is a privateer ship, 'cause I want one :-)

me to i want one so bad arc is so awesome but i bet a credit that the arc the jedi and greivous are going to be veteran rewards for like being in the game a year or something and you can only have 1
if this is true which one do you want

Anyone notice that rather off-hand comment about a "V-wing"? Never heard of that one, wonder what it looks like.

The V-Wing is a repulsorliftshipthat can only be used in the atmosphere (like the snowspeeder from ESB) used by the rebels. It appeared in the old Rogue Squadron Game for the Nintendo 64. Here's a picture of it (man, how did I use to think those were awesome graphics?

)Anyway, I think the mention of it in the Gamespot article is a typo, since the V-Wing is an atmospheric craft.
