Fly a lot

Sorry couldn't help myself, I really don't know....I have never been one for the quick and easy path.

I allyways did 'kill' duty missions, they are the correct lvl, and ya get paid.

Yeah, but when you're pure tier 3 doing those against tier 4 craft including agressors is slow and irritating. Once you have a couple of tier 4 skills I'm sure it's ok. I'm going through the same at the moment....

(CORBANTIS) Lyissan - Smuggler

Most of the timeI grind Tier 3 kimogilas in the lok system. Easy to kill, 1.6k xp a pop.

It's slow though.

Make some friends. I did my last 3 boxes helping my Imp friends do missions. I guess it's not technically faster but it seems like it.

I had a pilot friend share this with me and it greatly reduced the grind time for my last 2 tier 4 boxes. Wish I had known about it sooner. Hyperspace to the first choice for Kashyyk. It will put you next to the space station. There is always a couple of spawns of Merc Cruisers there. They come in groups of 3 with one big one and two smaller ones. The smaller ones have no weapons. Get right up on the tail of the big one and it can't hit you. Fire away and stay in its blind spot. Then kill the other two. You get quite a bit of loot and if you have an inspiration buff you get about 24k xp per group. Wash rinse repeat. This is the fastest and easiest way I have found to get xp.

Actually, it CAN hit you. Target a particular gun first, then the rest is cake. You figure out which gun, and I'll give you a cookiee.

I cnat beleive that I am the first person to suggest Kessel. I went there with an INterceptor as a 3333 and made it to master by grinding there. Just have droid programs, and your set, heck average of about 7.5k a kill miinus inspiration and good pay/faction, it goes fast, plus the occasional gunboat for 25k.

As a Freelance, I recommend the Black Sun Duty from the RSF tier4 trainer. Don't bother with the Smuggler's Alliance Duty, the Aggressors make that more trouble than it's worth. Flying a Destroy Duty to completion will get you most if not all of a tier4 box, and the flow of enemies is more reliable than any spawn, not to mention Duty pay. Having tier4 skills is largely irrelevant, since thereare no crafted parts in tier4, and any Level8 parts you get should be REd before you try use them. The only thing that might be a big aid is getting the ships box and flying a Rhix.

the thing about kessel is, the xp may be there, but finding what your looking for can be a real pain, spawns can be few and far between, personally, i run around endor looking for tier IVS and IIIs, plenty of em out there, plenty of xp to be had, especially around red sin chimera.

see i tried around chimaera, but i have kinda a wierd comp that when i fly around asteroids and stuff, my frame rate goes to hell, so kessel is perfect, ther eis like nothing there, besdies if you fly around kessel lonmg enough you learn where the spawn points are.

yes, the RSF trainer Black Sun mission is realy nice to grind XPs .. and it is possible to get a rare space drop in that mission too, while i made all the needed XPs with that mission, i had been a little bit lucky and looted two black sun ace helmits .

You didn't go until you finished tier 3?
You pansy.

Ok, I didn't my first time through because I didn't know, but my second pilot went there at either Corsec x2xx or x2x2.
Though you must be pretty careful about what you go after, and I had some pretty decent gear, but it can be done.
Everything was neutral for me, so it was pretty easy.
Factioned pilots probably wouldn't get through it so easy.

I got one or two boxes that way, can't remember.
I don't think it's really any faster or slower since you have to pick and choose, but you kill fewer, though that means fewer chances to get loot.

I mostly just wanted to see if I could do it.

Bug fixes. Heh! Smuggling. Heh! A Jedi craves not these things.

My SWG Observations

If they stopped the expansions for one year and gave quality revamps to the professions that need it most, many people would resubscribe.
With all the resubs, and the new players, there would then be plenty of money to hire enough people to do 2-4 quality revamps per year plus 1-2 larger expansions per year and/or 2-4 smaller expansions per year, and not give the BigWigs a pay cut. (Possibly even an increase)
