(Warning: this is a parody. Nobody take this seriously.
)
I think that pilot skills would be a great asset on the ground. I have worked very hard to get them and I've come to rely on them. Skills like iffscramble and eshield are vital, and I think I should be able to use my droid's ability to overload my weapons and shunt power into my PSG.
What do you think?
(Sorry, this is what happens when I'm sitting on a mower stewing over Jedi demands for powers in space.

And I want to be able to call a Bomber Strike 3 whenever I see some Rebels getting ready to raid a base or something.

I strapped a mark 5 engine on my swoop and splatted into the side of some guidhall that spawned right as I got to it...

YEAAAHHHH BABBY!!
Let me unleash the horror that is the Tie oppressor upon the ground.
Ill strafe the streets of Anchorhead, and drop enough space bombs to start a nuclear winter!
And bomb the living hell out of every rebel base in existance!
Fear me groundpounders, the reckoning is at hand and the prophet has come!
I love the smell of space bombs in the morning.. smells .like.... like victory!

I remember being in a pitched PvP battle on the ground one night, when stuff started spawning near us - a wrecked AT-AT, stuff like that. Then this TIE Bomber shows up, just sitting there on the ground...and all I could think was, "Guys, get me in that thing and I'll turn this fight around for ya." Sadly though, we never found the entry hatch.

Yes, but only Jedi should be allowed to do this.
Since they worked so hard and all.

Dammit, I wanna be able to use /piratetrap1 on the ground! Nothing more helpful than CL 5 thugs that are more likely to attack me than do anything else!

Why crash the X-Wing, I'd rather "crash" a couple of Spacebomb MKII's into it

You would actually scream "Bonzai", not Tora, Tora, Tora. The latter of those two was simply a call sign used to confirm success or presumed successof the Pearl Harbor raid.
