I've read your guide but its easier said then done, sadly most 'ace' pilots forget less then 10% of a server can do these things, hence the reason theres more Jedi then Master pilots. I need help in the form of someone going with me.

Amazingly, when we needed help, you were the first person I emailed. If the chat server is working, a formal request for assistance will be waiting for you there.

well i tried soloing and that was a disaster, i think if no ace solorers can help me im going to get people and zerg that damn vette and be done with it. There should be a choice, kill the vette or grind. You'd see alot more Master pilots if they didnt make this mission so hard.

I think getting past your upset, and attempting to learn, would really help you more than anything. Post what has caused your problems, with the mission to this point, and we can give you pointers, on what to do differently.
I'm not that great, but I solod the thing in a heavy scyk recently, no deaths. A heavy scyk with the 3 main reward items you get in Freelance, decent support systems, overload programs, and you're golden. You could do the same, if you allow yourself to become familiar with the process of taking down a cap ship.
You have all the tools you need at your disposal right now, but I don't disagree with your desire to get a group together. Not to "zerg" it and die in numerous frustrating ways, that's not fun, but a good group with knowledge on their side can make short work of the corvette.

Sadly I am on Ahazi, otherwise I would love to help. I find the hardest part to soloing the corvette is dealing with the fighters. Once they are gone, the corvette is a walk in the park as long as you are careful and stay in the blind spots. My only advice on taking out the fighters is to make sure you are using droid programs, Cap overload3, engine overload3, cap to shield shunt 3 and reactor overload3 are a minimum. Weapon overload3 will help alot too, and i am pretty sure u can fit all 5 on a lvl5 flight computer. Also, do not, do not, do not! chase aggressors. Fly away about 700m, turn around, head on pass with weapon subcomponent targeted. Repeat until gun is down.
Aggressors used to be a real pain in the ass, but with good guns, WO3, and good aim you can take out their gun from behind b4 they do much damage, but the head on pass method is alot safer.
Once fighters are dead, approach the corvette from BELOW and the front (use ctrl-/ to auto-level ship, this way you can tell what is up and down). Target gun 5, jinx and jive, kill the gun once you are in range. Couple missles do the trick, blasters work better though, just one pass
Once gun 5 is down, approach from behind and below, and target the engines of the lower or rearmost gunship. Gunships have a blindspot on the bottom/back 45 degree arc. If you fly directly below the gunship, about 300m away, you can stop and shoot the bottom of it. If it gets too far ahead of u before you take out the engines, just reposition and start again. Once it is disabled just sit in the blind spot and blow it up. Repeat for gunship 2. The corvette wont beable to hit you as long as you are below it
Once both gunships are dead, take out the corvettes primary and secondary shields. This is easily done with 2 mk3 proton torpedos each, or if you get in front of the corvette (but still below it) and to the left or right you can use blasters to hit them without being exposed to its guns.
After the shields comes the engine, jsut shoot it with blasters from behind the vette.
Now the corvette is not going anywhere, and you can finish it off without worrying about it hyperspacing. The reactor is next, and can be tricky to hit with blasters as it is on the top of the ship. 2 missiles will take it out, and you don't need line of sight so you can sit below the vette and still blow up the reactor. All the guns can be taken out from the left and right and slightly below though if you have no missiles.
After the reactor is gone though the bridge becomes targetable. Fly to the front (ya ya, still below hehe) and you should be able to take it out with blasters, sometimes have to move around a bit to find the sweet spot.
Don't know if this helps any, but I really think that if you can muster up some help with the fighters that you will be able to kill the gunships and corvette using this method, the basics of which I learned from the guides here on this forum
Good luck with master!

Yeah. The chat server was really buggy last night. For a while we had no email, no friends list, no group chat, and no tells. Was really frustrating.

Actually, I'm neutral at the moment. Novice Freelance Pilot. "We" is me and XStarbracer. She's ready to take down her Vette. I dropped out of the Imperial Navy last night to take up Freelancer so I could co-pilot a friend's ship and help her get her 30 TIEs. All she needs now is the Vette, which I am completely useless for. I'm hoping to snag a spot in someone's gun turret so I can be with her when it goes down. But it's all for her.
