according to a dev its "only useable on insurable items" so that'd be a no.

Well, that stinks. Our RE'd equipment is some of the rarest stuff in the game. I'd love to to stick the anti-decay kit on my RE'd level eight engine.

is not so true that it works only on insurable items as was stated (and tested) that it works even on weapons
i will like to know too if it can be used on space components as i have some nice stuff... but we can have a problem with that, in fact if we can use it on ships, engine and reactor we will have an invul ship

Your ship won't be invulnerable. Whatever component you applied it to would still take damage. But if you were to repair it at a station, it would avoid decay. The maximum armor/hitpoints would never change again.

are you sure about that?
was stated that no decay kit stop even battle decay wich probably is the damage our components/ships suffer when they get hit.

Tried it on my RE'd level 6 prenerf reward engine. Didn't work, sadly.

It's true. But I was able to trade it for a brand-spanking new 92.2 PRE NERF reward engine!!! Yay, Devs!
