Talk to the space station in Kashyyyk space to start the quest. Ask the nice lady Rian"What's going on around here?" and then agree to help her. When she tells you Emya wants to speak with you, land and talk to him to continue the quest. Follow his instructions and help the CPG with protecting Kashyyyk space from the terror of the Grahg Mercenaries. You'll reach a point when Emya tells you about something bad isabout to happen and to talk to Rian. Tell Rian you are looking for something challenging and upon completion the Vaksai is yours.


Not a difficult quest at all and can be done entirely solo (even in the whale boat known as the Rihk with sub-par components). And I'm not going to give any spoilers, takes the fun out of this quest.

Imperial pilots receive the Royal Guard TIE Interceptor and Rebel pilots receive the Advanced X-Wing. If you are a Freelance pilot and ground Imperial, you can get the Vaksai and the RGI but you can not go ground Rebel and Freelance pilot to get the Adv. X afterwards. I have all 3 between both characters and the Vaksai is probably my favorite of the three. It may be big but it is extremely fast and packs one helluva big gun in it. If at some point you are planning on going Rebel or Imperial Pilot, do the missions as a Freelancer with one of the ground factions and get the respective reward.


As of now, the RGI has a seriously bugged hitbox but other than that it's a pretty mean little fighter. The Adv. X is about 10k less mass than the Rihk, has a smaller hitbox, can carry a very similar loadout to the Rihk, and handles about 10x better than the Rihk. The Vaksai is 150k mass single weapon ship that can pack a level 10 gun in it with awesome shields and engineAND still leave room for some pretty heavy armor.

Just have to say that since getting my Vaksai, my JSF is now gathering dust.


This ship rocks.

It is a relatively easy quest. Bring some friends for the last part of the quest unless you are *really* good with gunboats solo or want to use the "hope and prey none spawn" method.


BTW the Vaksai is by far the most sexy of the 3 quest ships...

The Vaksai is definitely a sexy ship: what a shame it's effectively crippled for PVE by only having one weapon mount.

Do you get a hologram on this mission? You get a Rebel emblem for the Adv X-Wing quest, I assume that you getan Imperial emblem for the Royal Interceptor, what about the Freelance quest?

I'm RSF freelance but as we are sided with Palpy and his gang, I got the imp holo and sold it for 3 mil,lol.

The Vaksai is far far from being crippled for PVE. As an Imperial pilot I'm used to flying with a single gun anyway so flying the Vaksai wasn't much of a change for me in that aspect. Personally I think the Vaksai handles better than any of the Imperial craft with the exception of the Interceptors. But that's just my opinion based on how they feel in flight and not based on any hard studies or numbers.


The single gun mount on the Vaksai can be made to hold a nice level 10 weapon. If you've RE'd it right you should be able to get one down to around 40-45k mass or even less if you're lucky. And now you that you've got that huge cannon you've still got room for a nice 80+ PYR engine, a lvl8 shield with 2500+ protection, a couple slabs of 1400+ armor or better, and a missile tube.


With the loadout I have in my Vaksai not only is she a beast in PVP there is nothing that I cannot solo In PVE.

I have a Vaksai witha RE'd lvl 10 gun and with weapon overload 3 it not only outguns my Krayt which has 3 RE'd lvl 8 guns it has a cruising speed of 1650 and 2021 under booster. =) The thing is amazing in my book!
