. just to say im very very happy with theA wing.. way more of a challenge and fun to fly in pvp than a JSF.

Other than to point out the TIE Interceptor is a vastly superior craft, and sexier, I simply want to agree with the tone of the original poster. It's fun when you step out of the RotW ships and realize how awesome the older ships are.

I totally agree with Attaca, the interceptor is by far the sexiest ship, and one of the best in my opinion, although the extra mass on the a-wing is nice.

See, rebels need a little extra help, thats why their ship gets more mass than us. The designers knew Imperials would be better pilots, so they gave us the challenge of the 50k Interceptor.

I hear you guys though. I wore the pilot seat out in my A-wing. Definately a fun ship and perhaps one day I will load one out again.
I just can't ignore the 90k mass on my Bel-22 when I need to turn to a light manueverable fighter. Trust me though, I don't deny the RotW ships need to be balanced with the rest of the ship line up. I never PvP in my Bel-22, it's just SO wrong.

Again i have to agree, thats why i now have a missile and chaff launcher in my Intercpetor with 1k mass to spare

I'm sorry but this is a classic example of everyone excersising complete lack of taste. I'll put it in bright shiny letters for you.
A-WING IS -THE- SEX
(AND I WOULD HAVE RELATIONS WITH ONE IF PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE)
But seriously, the Squint is nice but just doesn't have the smooth aesthetically fantastic feng-shui thing going on that the A-wing does. As for x-wings...yeh they're nice but still, too massive for my tastes.
