Quite simply, which is the better fighter? I'm more concerned with which handles better than the number of weapons. Which ends up scoring more hits? Flying a Krayt, I find that the wing weapons are pretty useless sometimes when firing against other, smaller fighters.
I know alot of Rebels that choose the Firespray over the B-Wing, and alot of Imperials that choose the Firespray over the Oppresor, but how many Freelancers choose the Firespray over the Krayt?

The FS would have to make me breakfast every morning after for me to shell out the kind of money they cost.

I can get a FS for four million on Tempest, but even at that 'reasonable' price, I still can't be brought to part with more than 25% of mycreds when the handling stats on the FS are so horrid compared to the Kryat.
If I had another ship slot or two, I would definitely like to buy one just to have it, but I am not redeeding the Kryat, YT or Dunelizard for it.

I was disappointed with my KSE, then I ran engine overload 3 on my lurvley RE reward engine and it rocks

tie-opp > firespray, i own my friends who use it, it is just a novelty item unless your a rebel as far as im concerned as it doesnt handle near as good as the tie-opp and only has 50k more mass and with the correct droid commands you can max out on good shields, weapons, and ordanances without worrying about going overweight and the guns are in the same spot so they always score unlike the firespray which the bottom guns miss all the time when fighting any enemy with skill. for pvp i go tie-opp for pve it doesnt matter

Thats why I made the thread, wanna really know if its worth shelling out 5-6 million for a Firespray, when I can use a Krayt for 500-700k.

The Krayt outflies and outguns the FS, I've owned both and have now sold theFS and am very happy with my Krayt

At first I prefered the KSE. Then I learned how to fly the krayt.
Haven't flown the KSE since, and have even gutted some of it's equipment.

I own both, but am thinking of selling my firespray. The only thing the FS has on the krayt is room for 2 sets of spacebombs. But with a loaded Krayt, I really don't need them anyhow... A Krayt with all RE parts can outgun just about anything and I think it is the best PvE ship there is. With EO3, I can keep up with the A wings in Deep Space and clobber Vettes too with raw firepower.

It's quite simple...
Krayt > Oppressor > Firespray
The only one of my pilots who owns a Firespray is an Alliance ace, who doesn't have much choice...

I have a FS and a Krayt
The Krayt is a better ship to fly into combat.
