Well, we all know the prejudices of the empire when it comes to non-humans but I was unaware that this extended to the devs as well.

This is the sad tale of an honorable ithorian imperial pilot.

Well, that make take too long, so the abbreviated version, hehe.

When you get the imperial pilot helm, you cannot wear it, but it makes good decor and is part of the whole game concept. I can accept this. I know that my big head is not situated to use such things.

My problem comes with the flight suit. I am sure I the empire can throw in a big ass flight suit to fit me!!!

What do I get instead? The say I am too big so here is a bandolier. Well, cool, says I. The merc bando acts as a backpack and looks pretty sweet so I walk away contented in the knowledge that my prize, while not as cool as a flight suit, is still nice.

Then reality sets in...I cannot put anything in this bando. It is the same FREAKING one you can loot off of anything out there.

There is NOTHING SPECIAL ABOUT THE BANDO.

So, being ithorian, I cannot wear the helmet, I dont even get an option to get the tie suit, I just get a worthless bando.

C'mon, what is that supposed to be all about? At least give the bando that allows us to store things so there is some kind of reward for non-humans.

Anyway, I guess all this is, is a heads up to those funny headed non-humans who try to fly imp. Myself, I would highly reccomend going neurtal instead so at least you get something you can use. A bando without storage that is available in the ground game is completly useless and not very good JTL content.

Thanks for your patience with this rant. Ithorians do tend to be rather loquacious and ramble on when give a forum.

/bug it. Coming on here and getting all bent outta shape isn't going to fix the problem. /bug ing it will...eventually...when they get around to it....Shoot! You should be glad that we Imperials even let you near a TIE fighter...let alone fly one.

Good question. If the wookies get a bando they can put items into then I am gonna be an even angrier Ithorian. The bando I received was Tier 1, Imperial pilot missions.

Question to the wookie is, did you get a tier 1 bando, as an imperial, that you could put items into? If so, maybe I was bugged.

That is odd. I am a Ithorian, although rebel and at teir 1 I got a bandoleer, but it has a capacity of 50.

It is NOT a bug. I already sent a ticket to the CSR and he said it is working as intended. If you check the Pilot FAQ, it states that Imperial Ithorians get that stupid regular bandolier.

"Working as intended" at the moment until they decided to correct the intention of leaving in bugged content is what they really mean.

That makes zero sense why a player who chose to play one of the only two new featured races would be given a container bandolier in one faction and a completely worthless one in another.

On the flight suit, you can get one from doing the emp's retreat, though I kind of still doubt you'd be able to wear it.

My opinion is if a faction is going to allow a species to fight, fly and die for them, they sure as heck ought to be providing them ALL with wearable, useble items. If ithorians can wear specific composite helms, why isn't there a variant of even that helm with faction texturing they can receive as rewards and wear? Same for wookies and trandoshans... These races wear helmets, How tough is it really to throw a little bone to the players who decided they wanted to help with variety in the game by playing something other than a base humanoid?

Hi Folks.

I dont think this is a bug. This really just boils down to the fact that the Rebels are not racists. A Rebel Ithorian is going to get something he/she can use even if it is a 50 slot bando. As an Imperial Ithorian, you have to realise the Empire thinks of you as an inferior race and feels you should just be honored to fly and die for them.

You have to ask yourself,

Do you fly for rewards, or fly for the glory of the Empire?
