The Edited version isn't much better.
Can you say again? I don't quite get the problem.

well they messed with the order in which you gain skills so I have a felling 4433 becomes 3344 or 3443 so while the non ace pilot is not losing anything they have to grind to the tier 4 certifications again to fly there JSF.
Thanks for translating.
I don't see the problem tbh, will do most pilots good to learn in some Tier 3 original JTL ships. And its not like there's not reason other than laziness to get Master over 4433.
I see a lot of posts about 4/4/3/3s or 4/3/3/3s worried about their boxes, do that many people really stall out on Tier 4? Is that just for the Actis?
Grab a friend and knock out the rest of the boxes. I finished one of my server aces last night, today and tomorrow I'm working on getting a few groudn skills squared away. Gonna be a wierd weekend.

That's the way i look at it. Stalling at 4433 just seem, well, a waste really. You're past the point of no return, so why not just go the rest of the way?
You can get 1 million XP in less than 2 hours, and that's taking it very slowly.

I had stalled there for a few months, because I hated grinding, my wingmates at the time moved on or stopped flying. But then another Guildmate got interested in space after4 months of hardly touching my ship.
I hardly did any grinding, I just mostly helped people with their missions. It was much more exciting and fulfilling helping a newb pilot get through that first teir 3 Storm Squadron mission, than it was to fly around Kessel looking fora spawn of fighters, or picking up a Teir 4 duty.

Doing duties. That where i did all my leveling, never took me longer than 2 hours to get a level.
I have mastered 3 times and always used duty missions. In my mind it is the fastest way to grind. You don't need to look for the mobs either, they come to you...
2 tier 4 boxes should be done in 1 long evening or master pilot over 2 evenings.
I really can't see the trouble here. If you end up with loosing the ability to fly some of your ships at the 15th, you can only blame your self and your own laziness.
