I just tried to tank some NS with my CL 80 MDEF jedi so my friend CL60 could get down to get the corpse, got waxed twice..

Err, this is in the pilot forum why?

Best advice: Burst run down, then as soon as you can, burst run back out.

Screw running out, if you're the CL1, go up and give a big /rude to the spider queen and get a free trip back to the starport.

Also, I think burst running would be a given.

Then it should probably go in the "Quests and Missions" forum. Sorry, I'm just picky.

I think the mods make that decision, and seeing since the quest rewards some of the best space loot in the game, it's fair game.

It is on topic because pilots get the quest, so...

Anyway the point is a jedi is having probs getting down to the bottom.

Sorry to keep flogging at this, but it just irks me. There was nothing in your post that stated it had anything to do with the pilot community. It was simply about trying to kill a mob so a friend of yours could complete a quest. Stretching it to the extent of "the loot you get from the quest is composed of space components which pilots use" is a little bit much.

Ah, looking back at your post record, you're a JTLS forum user. I'm a "career" pilot, and even *I* stay away from that place.

Things run differently here. The JTL forum is down and dirty - the Pilot forum is a general area.

This has nothing to do with how "hardcore" of a pilot you are. It has to do with putting topics in their appropriate forums. And no, the Pilot forum is not a "general" area. It's for subjects relating to the PILOT profession.

Okay - this is going from slightly amusing to generally annoying. It's a pilot-related issue. Only people INTERESTED IN PILOTING (OR SELLING THE REWARDS TO PILOTS) WOULD RUN THE QUEST TO BEGIN WITH. UNLESS YOU'VE BEEN UNDER A ROCK FOR THE PAST MONTH, THERE'S BEEN QUITE A LOT OF TALK ABOUT CROSS-SERVER RUNS AS OF LATE. THE FACT THAT IT'S VERY DIFFICULT TO DO THAT SINCE SPECIALS ARE BACK IS RELEVANT CONVERSATION TO SAID PROCEEDINGS SINCE ARRANGEMENTS HAVE UNDOUBTEDLY BEEN MADE.

In short: GO GET "IRKED" ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE, THERE'S NO SHORTAGE OF THINGS TO GET PISSED AT IN THIS GAME.

All you're doing here is making Mt. Everest out of a molehill.

This is false, and no way you bend it is going to change it. Just bothers me that you can't see that, it's almost common sense when you look at the subject matter you're talking about.

If you are

A) Pilot
B) Pilot that cares about ship parts
C) Pilot that has no desire to play the ground game

then

D) This thread is meant for you.

What I forgot to mention is that I posted this because of the AI changes, making it almost impossible for a low lvl char to make it down there without a full group.
