I have always thought it would be awesome if there was a sector you could go to similar to DS, but one that was like a seperate server, and anyone from any server could enter, and when you enter, you choose to fight for your faction, or your server
And yes I mean let all the freelancers run around as pirates and kill everything
Sup Squadleadahs. Just curious about something. While I have been a Master Squadleader in the past, I am now a complete noobmuffin as to what is going on with the new changes. If I had 2 to 3 lines available to me to pick up in Squadleader, and I am into PvP, which would be most suited to me?

Some of us are noobmuffin's with Publish 24 just being out a little over a week. You're in the same boat as us.

none. The only way i EVER get 7k dmg is with Master Squad leader moves, plus my human leadership mod (+10), and 99% of the time it's on CL 12 ragtag loons. Great egobooster, but just not viable in pvp. In some very controlled, very specific tests i've hit over 7k BEFORE armor, though it's only fair to add that those tests do not in any way reflect a real situation, as i was firing on a stationary target with all his defenses down using combinations that rarely can be pulled off in a hot situation, and even more rarely work as you would think them ideal in a live situation. The 7k+ dmg is granted by different combos depending on different situations, but you've pretty much got to have MRM to even get close, and in that case you've got a 5 sec warmup timer, and can't use the ability again for 10-15 sec, in which time chances are good the enemy will be either on top of you or gone behind a building or out of range.

You can even get over those 7k of damage and you don't need any SL for that, just go Smuggler. Of couse, trying to pull the massive damage stunt in PvP will get you killed in 98% of all cases, but hey, perhaps you love that way of fighting.
You can also combine it with SL and do even more damage but only at a 02.% chance to survive long enough to do it... which of course does not happen with people who want to make screenshots to show insane damange numbers.
That's something people always forget, if somebodytries to set up those abilities to kill me with one shot, i just use my normal carbineer abilities (no Jedi necessary) to keep them off balance... if they continue trying to get the one shot kill on me, i will win without even taking a scratch. If they realize that there is no way to pull the stunt because i refuse to be shot like that i at least won some time to already put some damage on them.
And this is "only" carbineer abilities, where for example a Pistoleer, Smuggler or Jedi has a load of more options and thus can even better prevent to be taken down in the described ways.
I still propagate to change Called Shot to be more useful for group based operations and have posted a concept which at the same time would make it completely worthless in 1 on 1 PvP but dare to say that the balance issues which many people cry about are less than an issue than they want it to look like.
